Has anyone actually had a storm?

We were forecast thunderstorms and heavy rain today where I am. So far it's cloudy, boiling hot and not a drop of rain to be seen.
Has anyone had any of the storms predicted?

A few spots of rain in yorkshire but that's it. It has felt like there's a storm brewing all day but nothing so far. I was really excited to watch a storm.

I'm in South Yorkshire. The weather app was predicating rain and thunder for 2pm, then that got pushed further and further ahead and has now disappeared. It's overcast and humid but we haven't had a drop of rain.

Predicting, not predicating.

In my spot in the Midlands, we've not had a sniff of rain, let alone any storms.

It's looking increasingly unlikely we'll get any rain at all. 😢

The humidity is stifling

Returning from Turkey tomorrow and hoping for cooler weather. Hopefully it'll cools down in Yorkshire overnight.

Kent was forecast thunder and rain for sometime today but stayed hot and dry. Now forecast is changed to say a little rain tmrw and no storms currently forecast for us at all 😭

East Scotland here and one hell of a storm last night. Pretty much constant thunder and lightning from around 9.30 last night until 7/8 am. Some really loud cracks of thunder right overhead.

Didn't start raining until well after 11 but when it started it was torrential.

A couple of hours very light rain in Lancashire this lunchtime. Much cooler but no storms.

No rain in North Yorkshire yet but storm forecast for 9pm - cannot wait! Our town’s had a heavy (and spooky) sea fret for days now, but it’s barely lowered the temperature.

Nothing here in Mid Kent yet. Lots of weather warnings about heavy rain and flash floods, potential for power cuts due to lightning, but just returned from an afternoon paddling in the local stream to cool down as its still so hot, sunny and dry.

Yep, around 2pm we had a short but impressive deluge with thunder and lightning.

We had flash flooding and a whole afternoon of thunder. Only a few flashes of lightning though

No, nothing at all. (V close to Sheffield). Stifling weather. Very disappointed to see the BBC forecast updating to less and less chance of any rain.

We're in west lancs and had a drizzle earlier, no storms though

I'm East Midlands .. had about 45 drops of rain earlier .. I got so excited and was going to lie down on my garden lounger thingy
