Has anyone actually had a storm?

We were forecast thunderstorms and heavy rain today where I am. So far it's cloudy, boiling hot and not a drop of rain to be seen.
Has anyone had any of the storms predicted?

We have, the thunder was rumbling from 7pm last night and by 2am it was horrendous. It’s still rumbling around in the distance and we’ve had torrential rain.

Central Scotland has had them on and off since teatime last night, intermittent flashes of lightning and rumbles of thunder all through the night, nothing but rain since this morning though.

Some rain but no storms and the temp is still high 20s. Bristol

We are currently under a large thunderstorm in Somerset. Flash flooding, continuous thunder, hail and torrential rain. The air is definitely feeling fresher now

The BBC weather app says thunder and heavy rain right now. Suns out and it’s probably mid 20’s 😂😂 the 10 degree drop is very nice though!

South central England - just a bit cloudy here. No rain, no thunder, still quite hot (though not as sunny so not as hideous as the last four days).

I'm jealous of everyone who's had or got a storm, I'm desperate for it to cool down slightly.

We had thunder and lightening a lot of last night, loud enough to startle us awake over the noise of the baby monitor with white noise, Angus in Scotland

Truly spectacular thunder and lightening all through the night last night and non stop rain since about 6pm yesterday. Fife, Scotland

Same here, on my weather all the rain is moving later and later. Feels like ages ago it last rained

I have watched the rain on my weather app get pushed further and further back and it’s not disappeared.

The chance of rain the rest of the week has also reduced.

This is exactly what happened in July as well.

Between Bristol and Bath. Just a bit of drizzle this morning, still humid though. I've just checked on a storm tracking site and there's been lightning a few miles away near Glastonbury.

London/Essex border, not a thing. It's 31 degrees and so oppressive.

Yep - big old thunderstorm with plenty of heavy rain here in Devon. Started here around 3.30pm and still getting the odd rumble now though feels like it’s moving on.

Started 3:15, rain poured. Then hail. Quickly thunder and lightning. Just cleared up. At one point I couldn't see the end of the garden.
