Can't promise that I'll be able to add as much as I usually do (not very well atm) so its quite likely I might miss stuff but I've added a few thoughts to that thread re the current set up and tis easier if I just keep it in one place.

Heavy snow now.

We aren't that far from the Eastlands stadium,they are talking about having to halt the match to clear the ground of snow!

LMAO I have just put ESPN on to see the Man City game and there was a few men with shovels running about on the pitch clearing the lines. Was very amusing.

Sparkling cat was asleep when it started snowing. She has woken up and wanted to go out of the back door, but she saw all the snow. She then dashed to the front door in case there was no snow out there. Grin She's got the right hump.

DH decided at the last minute not to go to the match at Eastlands.

We are watching it now and shivering - there are Fulham fans there with no shirts on!

But the snow is very heavy - I just looked out and our road is covered.

It's snowing in Croydon! There was a slight dampness when we went to check just after 6.30 (dd1 has me setting alarms for regular checks!) , went out again 5 minutes ago and there is a light covering over everything, though it feels more like sleet

We have about 2cm now but still very slow going. I just let one of my cats out in it and got the best 'what the HELL?' look from a pet ever :o she padded around in it for 3 seconds and came back in

About an inch settled here in Glos (near Stroud). We live on a hill and I abandoned my car at the bottom of it a little while ago. No vehicle access to the house / road not been driven on for a few hours now.

And my son is camping, on even higher ground, about 20 miles away. Not sure how we'll get him home tomorrow. Bonkers Scout association!

There is snow in York. It is still snowing. Am slightly tempted to go out on a sledge in the dark down the small incline in my village but think I would look a little silly Grin

Snow here in South Lincs at leasta couple of cm and from look of the sky looks like a lot more to come tonight. Hope it does as have promised the children a sledge day tomorrow.
