Can't promise that I'll be able to add as much as I usually do (not very well atm) so its quite likely I might miss stuff but I've added a few thoughts to that thread re the current set up and tis easier if I just keep it in one place.

We're back, its started and its laying despite seeming a bit sleety. Quite glad party wasn't until 5:30. So that's near Guildford for those still waiting. Happy Birthday Pepper!

That was from 2 years ago rabid. I worked all afternoon on that and do you think dd and her friend were impressed? nope. They played in it for a bit and then went in cos dds friend was cold. So I sat in it for a while

I've been out and gritted the road (hill). Hope this snow does not end up being a non event. It seems to be stopping at the moment. Maybe the lull before the storm. Looks like some areas have a cm or so of snow... Example: Bath.

oh well done nannynick! Normally I like clearing paths and stuff but I cant at the moment - waah! snowing a bit heavier here after a lull, on the edges of the main precip pretty much right on time. Clever models!

santac - I'm afraid that's in a prime spot for bucket loads of snow.

Just back in - the snow isnt actually melting here, the sleet/hail is falling and freezing - I had ice crystals in my jacket when i got home!

Still not more snow though.

cool ice crystals! It does sound treacherous though manky. I think the ice risk is really nasty for many areas overnight and into tomorrow morning.

Hi OYBBK. Snow is just starting to settle here is Bicester, Oxon. Not telling DD yet in case it's all we get (very light at the moment)

I built an igloo 2 years ago...it had always been one of my life's ambitions. I have pictures of DP sitting outside it in the nip (one of his '100 things to do before you die')

South Northants, thickening up really nicely there is at least 1cm and it's still going.
