Can't promise that I'll be able to add as much as I usually do (not very well atm) so its quite likely I might miss stuff but I've added a few thoughts to that thread re the current set up and tis easier if I just keep it in one place.

Light but steady fall in Gloucestershire - started about an hour ago. It's not particularly heavy but it seems to be sticking and the sky is totally white.

Snow has hit North Oxfordshire, (but not yet Oxford itself according to DH) - It's been on and off since about 2pm, but is now a consistent fall.

motherpanda - thats good news :) (tis coming ever closer) the front will slow down as it crosses the country and looks set to stall over areas where the heaviest precip is expected.

I'm going to pop out to the supermarket in a minute - but by god it's cold out there. I'm going to be daring and leave the electric heater on while I'm gone - hope it's OK. Life on the edge at 40 hey - leaving the heater on!! Grin

Doesn't really feel like it's going to snow though - it doesn't 'feel' right - but I'm used to the Alps so maybe it feels different without the altitude?

Right - if I'm not back in a couple of hours - send someone to defrost me :)

We're about 10 minutes away from the airport Lily and there's no snow worth talking about. We had a dusting earlier but it hasn't really stuck.

Snowing quite steadily for about an hour now, in mid-Somerset. Pitching well, about a centimetre so far. The log burner is lit, chocolate opened, bliss!

Anyone in north hants? I'm stuck in a shopping centre, its still busy so I imagine its not snowing yet (our carpark took 3 hours to get out of last time so people panic)

NN3 is apparently just started snowing, but I'm at the south end of the county and there is nought yet.
