Anyone want to join and discuss/trade animal crossing tips?

So after getting sick of a particular villager, I watched a YouTube video about how to get rid of them. Lots of tips and tricks, one of the ways was to build a fence around their house and trap them in it so they become unhappy and go.

I got so fed up that I spend £3 on an amibo card from eBay, three days later of inviting said villager to the campsite the hateful gorilla was gone!

I just wanted to share this as I’m very proud of it, I made DS a Harry Potter Halloween costume

I’ve only been sharing with him a night and I’ve already got in trouble. I sold an old boot that he fished and left laying around and now he needs it to craft something. Which led to a conversation about him needing to put things away if they’re important and him replying with he didn’t know I was going to go cleaning everywhere......this is starting to mirror real life in a very accurate way 🤣🤣

Hello! Yes please can I join? DP bought me a Switch and AC at the start of lockdown, I still play almost daily but I've never had a visitor or visited anyone's island (except dream islands). I've lost my mojo for it a bit now, need to be inspired again!

We tried the fencing in trick to get rid of a character- we also never ever talk to him. he is still there though.

Does anyone know how to play 2 player? DD has set up a tent on my island. She’s 5 so I have to do a lot of the reading for her so it has become my game more than hers (mwahaha). But I’m not sure if we are able to play at the same time using two sets of controllers or if you can only play with two players if they have separate consoles...

Also, I’m losing my mojo atm so hoping this might spark it. I also might do myself a nerdy spread sheet for creatures so I know when and where to look for ones I haven’t got yet. 🤓

I’m in! My island is getting overgrown with flowers at an alarming rate and I’ve done barely any construction but would love to see others’ islands. PM if you like x

@MiddleClassProblem I think you need 2 switches to play 2 players at the same time

For tracking your creatures there's a great app called ACNH.GUIDE that tells you what's available to catch when, how to grow hybrid flowers, a check list for your daily bits to do, and a turnip price predictor

Oooooh! Are you able to sort it or does I show what’s available now? I’ve got lists but you have to scroll through them alphabetically so you don’t know which are relevant now without checking the whole list iyswim

@MiddleClassProblem Whenever you open the app it shows you what's available to catch right then, based on time of year and time of day, and you can tick off what you've caught and/or donated to the museum.

I seem to have accidentally ended up with an island full of jocks, I swear to god if I hear one more word about their delts! There'll be no more when they've moved on!

Hello! I have found my people! I've been working on my island for a little over 3 weeks now! It's coming along quite nicely! Saw my first shooting stars tonight! 😍

Amazing! Thanks! That ACNH.GUIDE app is amazing. Although I saw my first scorpion tonight and it stung me even though I tried sneaky walking with my net. I hope I can catch one before the month is up!

I have others to catch but that one seems the hardest as mostly play at night and I hadn’t seen it before I’ve only been playing for a few weeks...

Commenting for tomorrow was playing on my friends switch when it came out and then got my own I've also lost my mojo a bit but trying to get back into it.
