Can someone please explain the thing about spawning trees on mystery islands? And how to spawn bugs?

Did you see the link posted further up the page? Explains it quite well. Basically you need to go to a mystery island and trash it - chop every tree, pick every flower, pick up every weed - so the bugs have nowhere to spawn. Then plant a palm tree (which you take with you) to force it to spawn there. I say all this, I haven’t managed to do it yet!

Quick sneaky question please. I've just upgraded to a house and now owe 98,000 bells. Does it affect gameplay if you never pay it back? I doubt I'll upgrade after this but you never know. Will Nook send the bailiffs round or am I good?

Can you play this on a IPad? I'm looking for another game to play seen I'm shielding and bored. I play Family Farm Seaside which I just love, and Covet Fashion, but I have heard so many good things about Animal Crossing it's peaked my interest!

I feel like it needs layout changes but I'm very chuffed with my science centre. The streets are named after my dogs

There is no consequence to not repaying Nook but each time you upgrade you get more storage and more space in your house which can be useful

There is an animal crossing pocket camp version on an iPad/iPhone. I’ve not played it but I think it’s just a basic version of the switch game

Hi all. Is this thread still running? Got me and the DCs a switch for Xmas and ACNH was one of the game family gave us. I've been playing for about a week now and am a bit obsessed. Annoyingly I paid for the family online membership so DS could play with his friends then realised none of mine played. Would love to swap friend codes if anyone is up for that. I feel like MN users will probably be fairly safe for me to add as opposed to a bunch of 8 year old boys....

I've just started playing yesterday! Can tell I'll become obsessed.... definitely up for swapping Dodo codes so I can visit other people's islands.

Anybody got turnips selling at a decent price and would be happy to share their code. Dd is on a decreasing week and feeling unhappy.

I just started playing in the last week.. Bought myself a switch lite so I wouldn't have to use DS account and I could do more stuff to the island!! Feel free to PM and I can give you my friend code.. I've no friends IRL that play either so I just added from another post here :)
