B - avocado on toast

L - a salad of quinoa, chickpeas, butternut, broccoli, red pepper from a jar and sun dried tomatoes in a dressing of balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper, with some vegan feta and pumpkin seeds on top and a drizzle of sriracha

D - I'm about to start cooking a veggie chilli, which we'll have with potato wedges and a dollop of Oatly creme fraiche.

D: potato and ‘feta’ bake, beetroot, tomato, Bombay carrot salad and lettuce/cucumber

Yesterday:
L: salad of hearts of palm, cucumber, tomatoes, chilli, lettuce. Raspberries and blueberries
S: raw peanuts, hummus and a carrot, more tomatoes
D: another salad (went for dinner with friends despite doing the detox thing)

Today:
B: peach and golden berries
L: avocado, banana, mango, spinach smoothie
D: plonked bits and pieces on the table for everyone to help themselves, I had sugar snap peas, grated carrot, tomatoes, cucumber, olives, white cabbage Mexican slaw, olives, avocado

Will likely have some blueberries later (have never eaten to much fruit!)

What's the detox you're doing @KobaniDaughters? Is it a kind of whole food/no oil kind of thing?

L: root veg and lentil curry
D: Pappardelle with garlic mushrooms/baby spinach/mushroom sauce/nooch with broccoli and a big salad

@PartTimeDomesticGoddess yeah just a self created one to get myself back on track after too much snacking and boozing!

Days 1&2 veg, fruit, beans, legumes
Days 3&4 veg, fruit
Day 5 veg broth
Days 6&7 veg, fruit
Days 8&9 veg, fruit, beans, legumes

Last time I didn’t have caffeine and it was horrible so I’m restricting to one cup a day, and unlimited herbal teas. Going to attempt alcohol free until thanksgiving too because my body needs a break

@KobaniDaughters I think a reset can be really helpful (I'm not very good at booze free though, especially over the weekend!) Good luck 😊

I did 4 month booze free at the beginning of the year and I know I felt better for it. I just put on weight so much easier as well when I drink and I want to re-kick the usual 10lbs!

Yesterday:
B: shared a peach and nectarine with D.C.
L: salad
S: sugar snap peas and mango
D: baked acorn squash, corn on the cob, half an avocado, more mango

L: Bol katsu curry pot
D: tomato/corn/chard/tamarind hotpot with rice and chapatis
S: salted nuts, Tony’s chocoloney

Saturday
B: kiwi, mango, sourdough toast with avocados and tomatoes
L: crackers with sundried tomato cashew spread, bbq popchips and malt loaf with plant butter
D: Indian takeaway with friends - onion bhajis, popadoms, pilau rice, mixed veg curry, tarka Dahl. Chocolate fingers for pudding
S: collective plant yogurt, salt and pepper cashews, marzipan and cherry ice cream

Going well thanks @PartTimeDomesticGoddess I added in beans and legumes again today because we went rock climbing and I needed the protein. Not drinking has been fine, as has no sugar or wheat but oil is difficult because veg def tastes best roasted!

Think I’m going to continue for a while with no booze, sugar, wheat as my tummy has flattened so no bloating and in general feels much better even though I’ve eaten so much fruit! Will bring back oil for cooking but will be a bit more mindful of how much I use. Ultimately it’s been a good reset though and I’ve drunk a lot more water too but have been quite hungry so proper meals have been a bit out of the window.

I'm a fan of a reset @KobaniDaughters. When I'm doing IF I feel that's one of the benefits it brings. And I completely agree with you about roasting being the best way to eat veg (see yesterday's dinner!) but I have found that if I spray olive oil rather than drizzle it I use a lot less but it still tastes nice

@KobaniDaughters I am sugar, gluten and booze free and my body loves it. I limit oil and use water to roast veg/stir fry not quite the same but passable!

That’s good to hear @quinin I’m def quite hungry so adding back in the protein!

It’s that annoying time of year for me where it’s so so hot but I want to start making soups and casseroles, after living here for 10years I still haven’t adjusted!
