Hi, sorry I fell off the thread a bit. I've also been meaning to try Jackfruit. Is it better to buy the tins of ready pulled young Jackfruit or the tins with pieces and then chop them? The curry sounds like a good idea. I've also seen a recipe for a white bean chilli using it(and of course recipes for tacos, rolls etc.)
I finally saw some spaghetti squash (and acorn) for sale but they looked small, tired and were £5 each! so I passed.

Wednesday:

L: Bubble and squeak, mushrooms, tomatoes
D: Five spice tofu, roasted plum sauce, black Nerone rice, ginger pak choi. This was really nice and very easy to cook.
Plum sauce ( I cut the quantities and left out the 5 spice as I had roasted the tofu in it)

I'd not had black rice before, I really liked it. My H who hates brown rice liked it too, he said it is how brown rice should taste! My mind kept thinking I was about to eat black beans.
