Glad seacroft is off your list, it's the third most deprived area of Leeds, I worked there for twenty years and can tell you it's not an area I'd live! North Leeds has the best areas but the most pricey. I lived on the edge of Colton and loved it! Temple newsam was practically my garden! Barwick in elemet, scholes, aberford, wetherby are all lovely areas on the east side of Leeds- close links to both countryside and motorways. In the north horsforth, otley, guiseley are lovely areas.
Then mega rich areas of scarcroft, wike, east Keswick, bardsey, collingham, harewood. All lovely but very pricey.
Absolutely loved living in Leeds- massively miss has the best of everything you will love it!
Also avoid any inner city locations like east end park, chapel town, little London, armley, Bramley. All similar to seacroft scary places!
