What the pettiest revenge you have taken?

Topic came up in work today about revenge on annoying co workers and was quite shocked what people do! It was light hearted, nothing serious. Came up as someone’s tin opener went missing years ago (he’s now left) and my colleague admitted he hid it after the colleague pissed him off.
Any other stories whilst I’m bored waiting for a medical appointment?

Landlord who had really made my life hell, tried to illegally evict me, turning up and harassing me. Had to call police multiple times. Eventually I managed to move on. He then did the same to next tenant and his wife was done for ABH against their current tenant. Every time the property has come up for rent since I have emailed the estate agents he is using and shown them all the evidence of his harassment and warnings to him from the police. Funnily enough none of the agents will touch him now. He then tried advertising it through Facebook and I comment on every post or message the people who look like they are interested.

House is now for sale.

When me and my ex broke up he bought me out of our house and I was moving out. On moving out day I did the following:-

  1. Damaged every light bulb in the house so when he went to turn the lights on they weren't working
  1. Chucked the back door keys in the bin so he's have to pay to get the locks changed.
  1. Turned the boiler off at the mains so again it wasn't working. He was useless and never invested any time in working out how to work the boiler etc.

My final triumph though was he had made me pay 1/2 for the sitting room.csrpet so I cut the said carpet in half and the underlay and then decided to leave my half for him as a moving in present

When I was a young, first time mum I lived with my partner in a terraced house and the neighbours made our lives a misery. They used to gossip about us and turn their radios up and press them against the wall when our baby cried. Once they had a go at us when we sat in the garden stating they’d reported us to Children’s Services and that they spoke to their dog more than we spoke to our child. They ruined my early years with my baby and I was terrified of her making a noise.

One day, the postman accidentally posted a postcard through our letterbox from one neighbour to the other as they were on holiday. Myself and my partner entertained ourselves making minor alterations to what was written on it so it didn’t look obvious. My favourite being the neighbour signing it from herself and her dog Chilli and us changing that to - chill out you twat. We then posted it through the right letter box. Made me feel a bit better

I've just remembered something else.

I caught my ex out in his cheating as found his car out side the ow's house.

I had his spare car key. His work shoes were in back, I snapped the laces in both shoes and left everything else as was.

That was petty but it felt sooo good.

I then chucked the spare key away.

I got revenge by proxy. An ex from eons ago (early 90’s) took my car to show off to the girl he was cheating on me with. He crashed it over an embankment and while they were unhurt, the car was trashed. It turned out that he had no driver’s livence, so it was uninsured. The police found no reason to charge him with theft because we lived together. (I had absolutely not given him permission to drive my car, but hey…) I moved out. She moved in. They appeared to be living happily ever after, etc. A mutual friend hated how he got away with this, so stole their spare car key and poured Thai Fish Sauce into every carpeted area of the car. And then locked the spare into the boot. I should add that we all lived in a very hot, humid place and the smell would have been unbearable.

My parents divorced when I was 11 after my dad had an affair. After they separated we used to spend weekends at my dads and the other woman house so as revenge I used to use her toothbrush as a toilet brush!

I like your style !

My neighbour told me they were moving the next day, didn’t even bother to tell us they were selling. I made sure to park directly outside their house as I knew they’d not bother to book the spaces and plan to ask the street WhatsApp for people to move. I walked my child to school that morning to make sure I didn’t move my car. They knocked but i ‘didn’t hear’ and I muted the street WhatsApp. Deserved it for being knobs. Who sells their house and only lets you know once they complete!

I don’t think what you did is petty. I think it was unnecessarily rude and inconsiderate.

A local shop owner falsely accused me publicly of lying about something (long story) and more, so I got DH to go to the shop, order something, and ask for a VAT receipt. As we suspected, the VAT number was false so we dobbed them into HMRC.

😆Love your style !

When I was 22 I had a boyfriend who was ten years older than me and whose pride and joy was a very expensive sports car. He was absolutely in love with this machine and also, I suspected, still in love with his ex girlfriend. One night he was a bit off with me on text and I just knew he was with her- I drove round to the ex’s house in my little Vauxhall Nova 😂 to see if he were there… sure enough his shiny black Mazda was parked a few doors down.
I had a key to his flat so I drove back and let myself in, found the spare car key which he kept in the kitchen drawer, drove back to the ex’s and moved his car several streets away. She lived in an area which was loads of Victorian terraces and it was quite a maze of roads, all with on-street parking.
I then went back, quietly replaced the spare key, locked up and went home to my mum’s, semi gleeful, semi fuming.
The next time I saw him he told me a version of the story; how he’d ‘lost’ his car outside a mate’s house, how insane it was, how long it took to find it, thought it was stolen, thought he was losing his mind etc. He never did find out what happened or that it was me and at 22 I was such a wet blanket I never confronted him about being at his ex’s 🙄 and he ended up dumping me to go back to her!

The boss at work was a C U Next Tuesday to us all at work.

He asked me to make him a bacon sarnie so my colleague and I took the opportunity to add a bit of extra flavouring by adding our bogies to the sarnie. I REALLY enjoyed watching him tuck into that sarnie...

@Agatha1989 Because she'd have looked rather silly having been pegged and not noticed.

I've had a peg put in my hair at a dance comp because that's what they do to give luck, I thought it was hilarious I was walking about with it in without knowing (considering I'm the dance mum and not the dancer).

Also can't see what they did wrong other than give their friends more sweets and were dressed brightly? Am I missing something?
