What the pettiest revenge you have taken?

Topic came up in work today about revenge on annoying co workers and was quite shocked what people do! It was light hearted, nothing serious. Came up as someone’s tin opener went missing years ago (he’s now left) and my colleague admitted he hid it after the colleague pissed him off.
Any other stories whilst I’m bored waiting for a medical appointment?

You know that house? You know there was a For Sale sign outside?

Why the snark? I'm asking genuine questions it's such an odd situation. No need for that.

Even worse than pegging a bandanna😀

Or being pegged in a bandana.

We had a machine where I worked, just a little cherry picker, access machine. I was quite good at driving it, coworker wasn't. I could get it in and out of tight spaces and he couldn't. He was pissing me off with woman driver jokes every time one of us had a trolley or pallet truck, just generally very up himself and thought he was gods gift to the poor little women.

So one night when we had a huge delivery in, I took it, got down on my knees on it, and drove it like that, reversed it underneath the racking, so literally an inch between the top of the machine and the shelf it was under, turned it sideways and wedged it in so there was less than a foot of space behind or in front. I crawled out backwards and went home.

He spent all night climbing the aircraft steps to put the stock away. Apparently he was in a vile mood.

Next morning, I got in, went straight to the warehouse, played innocent 'who put that there? Handy place to stash it, I guess, must've been in the way.' Crawled under, climbed in and maneuvered it straight out, started dropping and filling my department. He comes out, demands to know how I got the machine out. I played dumb and was like '...I just got on and drove it out?' He was FUMING all shift.

Well done!!! 👏 bet he HATED that 😄

Ummmm your neighbours are under no obligation to tell you anything? What business is it of yours? Confused

This. How arrogant of this poster to think this is their right

It's quite an evil act though. I mean, imagine admitting that on a public message forum. Moving a jar of coffee to the other side of the room! 😱

😂

I mean, imagine admitting on a public message forum…..

that your brand new just moved in boyfriend was doing your head in so much because he wouldn’t take off his shoes indoors, left a towel on the bathroom floor and most egregiously, never put the coffee canister wheee it lived. And when you throw him out, you go into the kitchen to see…… he had moved the coffee canister to the other side of the room.

😂😂😂

I know, and blocking the space for the removal van is wildly out of proportion, and very nasty.

Not forgetting the bit where he shouted at her and called her a psycho for having standards

Just remembered another one. Mid 90s, we’d sold our house but not found another so rented for a bit. Found a nice place with the bonus that it had a large outbuilding where the landlord said we could store some furniture. Two days before we were due to move in he turned round and demanded an extra £250 a month to rent the outbuilding.
Thankfully we could stay with relatives until we found another rental - I think he thought we were desperate and would just pay up, I was 8 months pregnant at the time.
Unfortunately for him at the time I worked for council tax debt recovery at the time, and I went fucking forensic on his accounts during my last week before maternity leave. He owned several rental properties and by the time I’d finished cross checking with previous tenants on moving out dates, and matching up empty fee periods that he wasn’t entitled to, he owed nearly £3k. I also knew where he worked, something he’d never disclosed before in his dealings with council tax arrears, so I slapped the maximum number of attachment of earnings orders on him, to run concurrently until the debts were cleared and notes all over the accounts that under no circumstances should the orders be stopped.
I came back from maternity leave and was amused to read the notes detailing his increasingly abusive and desperate phone calls trying to get the orders lifted - he didn’t succeed!

What goes around comes around, an employer who acted in a wholly unethical way towards me submitted a bid for a contract I was on the tender evaluation panel for, they did not score highly!!

Back when j went to bitcoins, a girl kept backing into me and pushing me, pretending it was an accident but I could hear her friends telling her to do it again. I asked her to stop, and she just said “whoops” sarcastically. No idea if she actually had an issue with me or was just a dick. Anyways, she had this big fancy hair claw in and on the last time that she bumped into me, it fell out into the floor. She went to pick it up and I stomped on it and said “whoops.”

In my first flat next door neighbours work for the Royal mail sorting office with his run of night shifts finishing on a sunday morning, so then him and his mates from work would pull an all nighter on the sunday playing loud music all night. I worked M-F 9-5.

My bedroom (and living room) was on the ajoining wall, then the spare room, then the bathroom and i still couldn't escape the noise in the bathroom with all the doors inbetween closed. I had knocked on the door previously to complain but no improvment. One sunday/monday the music didn't stop till gone 5am giving me less than 2 hours sleep before waking for work.

So I got up, put three of the same albums they'd been playing over night in my 3 disc autochanger turned the speakers against their wall, banged on my piano (which i didn't use just had for nostalgia as i used a digital piano with headphones) to make sure they were away and then left the 3 CDs playing at full volume for the next 9 hours whilst out at work.

I didn't need to do it twice!!

A collegue was a complete twat. Covid denier. Lazy. Left me to do the all the shit work. I had evidence of something dodgy on him, but didn't want to actually report him. So I sat on it for a bit, mulling it over. Eventually I worked out exactly the right person to pass the gossip about what he'd done on to.

My tea didn't get him sacked, but then he did something else (that actually, I didn't know about) and my evidence which had by then been passed up to management, plus the new misdemeanor got him sacked. Our boss called me into the office, told me she was sacking him and made sure I could cover for him until his replacement arrived. Given that I was already doing all his work, it was no additional burden.

I just remember walking past our office, seeing him in there, knowing that the ax was about to fall, but that he was ignorant of it. He was gone by the end of the day. On a plane back home.

I honestly cant remember getting revenge on someone. Ever. Maybe I am just not built like that!

The worst I have done is take some very harsh criticism, then thanked them for their feedback and asked if anything else was a problem. After 30+ minutes they ran out of steam and I wished them the best.

Revenge needs dislike or anger toward someone thats intense enough to take revenge. I simply dont hold grudges or feel that emotive about other people. As someone I know once said "let life live itself" and "dont take life too personally".

Me neither. I can’t imagine doing something to deliberately upset anyone.

This one I have told before, but I guess I could share it again: this is an old boyfriend taking the revenge..

The people living in the flat upstairs were utterly vile individuals. They often made a lot of noise and were horrible neighbours. The woman neighbour had some sort of dry twigs display in a pot outside her front door. Whenever my boyfriend blocked the loo with his business, he used to go out, select one of her twigs, help the poo along and then replace the twig in the pot.

It made us feel a little bit better at the time and made me laugh quite a bit.

Mines a lighthearted thing in our house now but probably extremely petty. If my OH annoys me I will move all his cards round in his wallet or if he’s left loads of crap about I pop it all in a bag for life by the fridge… it started off as a bad mood rage thing but now he always says he knows I’m REALLY mad if I don’t do it

Twilight7777 · Yesterday 21:55

Was having a dilemma that I thought my boyfriend of 4 months (he rushed me into it) was love bombing me and asked for a weekend to think things over, and asked him not to contact me. Later that day he must have realised I was starting to question things and sent a message saying “maybe we should end things now I’ve obviously done too many things wrong, pushed you too hard”. Bear in mind I only asked for a weekend to think things through, I was fully expecting to see him again after the weekend to talk through my thoughts. I decided well fuck him for assuming and not giving me the time to process my thoughts, gave me an ultimatum. Sent a thumbs up. Must have irritated the hell out of him for not giving him an actual answer or for not backtracking and apologising to keep him happy. That night he changed his Facebook relationship status to single and then the next morning he was suddenly in a new relationship. Clearly he had been seeing someone else, the prick! I sent a “I’m concerned about this person at risk of harming themselves” report about both of them to Facebook and blocked them both. Minor petty but it helped at the time!

When I was a dental nurse I had this horrible boss who told me that a bonding agent we used was £1 a drop so I’d squeeze a few extra drops out on purpose and always felt abit better after

ForAvidDuck · Yesterday 22:01

I had a really nasty boss who used to shout at people and made a point of throwing their mugs across the car park if they annoyed him. There was a slimy fish tank in said office that I regularly offered to clean out and use his “special” mug to scoop the fish in and out
