What the pettiest revenge you have taken?

Topic came up in work today about revenge on annoying co workers and was quite shocked what people do! It was light hearted, nothing serious. Came up as someone’s tin opener went missing years ago (he’s now left) and my colleague admitted he hid it after the colleague pissed him off.
Any other stories whilst I’m bored waiting for a medical appointment?

A guy at uni pissed me off. Not anyone I was into or anything, just a guy I knew as an acquaintance who made me feel like crap one day with a nasty comment. I knew he had a thing for a girl on my course I was friends with and was always trying to impress her. I mentioned to the girl in passing that he'd made an offhand comment about liking to pleasure himself anally with a dildo. He never said that. I still pmsl when I remember.

Why the snark? I'm asking genuine questions it's such an odd situation. No need for that.

It's none of your business whether your neighbours are moving or not. Or perhaps they moved because of you?

Wrong poster.
If you post it correctly, I'd be interested in their reply, it's certainly the nastiest "revenge" on here.

Not me but my cousin. He had a Saturday job and the boss was a nasty, tight git. He ordered my cousin to make him a cup of tea, so my cousin got the boss's mug and rubbed his willy around it before making the tea and presenting it to the boss.

Well, we thought it was funny at the time when my cousin told us.

😂😂

I went on a bad date with a bad guy.
Shortly after I set up a fake dating profile, posing as a much younger woman, and arranged to meet him. You should have seen how excited he was to be meeting such a young woman! It was gross. Obviously didn’t show up. He must’ve been sat at the bar waiting for a long time lol.

I used to work in a supermarket. Colleague had gained a little bit of power and used it to make everyone in the department miserable. I put my notice in had some holiday went back in for one shift and left. Failed to remind them that every single process we had to use to make the the department run was under my profile on the computer. I left and at midnight my work account was closed meaning that when people went in to start work at 4am they couldn’t access any information and were messaging horrible colleague to go in early to sort it.

In my defence I had suggested months before that the other team leaders copied all the important stuff over onto their own profiles but horrible colleague was always too busy arselicking management and bitching about how hard she worked (she didn’t) to bother with stuff that might be useful.

Gave me huge satisfaction tbh 😊

When I moved out of my rental property I refused to tell the absolutely useless estate agency the utilities readings. I don't actually know why it was so inconvenient as I did obviously give them to the utility company and paid my final bill, so would have thought the company would just have told them. Apparently not! Not sure if it meant they had to pay anything out, but they were definitely still calling me a month or so later to try and get them from me, so at the very least it must have been a bit of a nuisance. Hey-ho, after their behaviour during my move out, I feel no remorse whatsoever. Think I was very restrained actually.

Reminds me of my revenge against another useless, snooty, patronising, letting agent (boiler was broken for a month in deepest winter type stuff). What they didn't know was that I knew a LOT about landlord and tenant law, more than they did, in fact.

Back then there were fixed term AST contracts. About two months before my fixed term was due to expire, they started to pester me about renewing. I said I wasn't sure what my plans were. I said I might just let it become a periodic tenancy after fixed term expiry (a.k.a. rolling contract), but knowing full well I was going to move out.

I also knew that if I moved out on the last day of the fixed term, the tenancy would legally end on the last day. No obligation to give notice. The clause in the contract saying I had to give notice had no legal effect.

So that's what I did. I told them the day before, though.

When I was a teenager, me and my best friend fell out. She messaged me asking me to return a top she had lent to me. I farted on it before giving it back.

😂

My sil makes horrible bitchy comments, one day I was at an event she was having and she was desperately arse licking and trying to impress someone who had attended, someone she was impressed with and was trying to ingratiate her self to,

I got on quite well with the woman so loudly in front of sil I said in a joking manner, oh Jane’s so lovely and so funny , you’d never beleive the stuff she says to me, and rolled out loudly many examples, with a sweet smile, like I found it amusing,

the woman was horrified shaking her head and side eying her, as my sil was stuttering and trying to justify it, I just smiled and acted like I’d done nothing bad, and kept going, everything from interior design to her Brutal judgment of other fat women, this went down particularly well as the lady was in this category,

she didn’t say anything after but was very wary of me, as whenever I called her out she’d say its just a joke, so I took her at her word, and loudly and for a prolonged period detailed in excruciating detail all her “funny jokes” about decor choices, and the appearance and eating habits of fat women,

it did calm the comments down a lot, and I regret nothing, my husband was like wow, but I was like she said it so she can own it,

This sounds like my sister. Her H left her for a lovely larger lady and we were not sympathetic :)

@Agatha1989 Because she'd have looked rather silly having been pegged and not noticed.

It was just a daft thing my friend did. Plus it was kind of ironic

My petty revenge was leaving my ex and moving on and living life to the full......not before I had cut one leg off his favourite pair of jeans as well as throwing one of each pair of shoes and trainers down the rubbish chute.

I'm honestly more chilled these days😊

Reported my childhood bully for benefit fraud. Revenge served ice cold.

It hasn’t come to fruition yet but I have a nosy twat of a colleague who has done a few mean and troublesome things the least of which is going through my drawer where I keep my personal stuff. He is the partner of another colleague and she is knocking off her boss. I’ve put a note in the private drawer he likes to snoop through to tell him that she’s shagging her manager. She’s an absolute cow too so they deserve one another really.

My neighbour told me they were moving the next day, didn’t even bother to tell us they were selling. I made sure to park directly outside their house as I knew they’d not bother to book the spaces and plan to ask the street WhatsApp for people to move. I walked my child to school that morning to make sure I didn’t move my car. They knocked but i ‘didn’t hear’ and I muted the street WhatsApp. Deserved it for being knobs. Who sells their house and only lets you know once they complete!

Why do you have a right to be told at any point? This post is absolutely bonkers.

This can’t be real. If it is, you’re not very nice at all.

Me neither. I can’t imagine doing something to deliberately upset anyone.

You should try it sometime. It’s fun. Be a change from polishing your halo.

One time at the park with DC a girl was taking the P* having loads of go’s on the zip wire. I mainly went in the morning when it was quieter. There was only the hogger and my DD. The girl had had it to herself for at least 10 minutes. DD wanted to have a go I assumed after that long having it all to herself she would just hand it over. But no she kept saying I’m just having another go. After about 5 minutes she handed it to DD who had 1 go then she had a few more go’s for about 5 minutes. Other girl said but that’s not fair. DD has non verbal autism so can’t speak up for herself. They’re dad brought our son over also non verbal autism that’s why we go early. He had a few minutes on it.

He finished by then another child had come over not long got there wanting a go. So we handed it to him. Call me petty I don’t give a fuck. The park didn’t belong to that brat. She started crying then eventually her mum came over to see what was wrong. I explained she had had more than her fair share of her time on the zip wire and there were other children wanting to play on it now not just her. So mother said oh well go and get you an ice cream darling. Well it’s clear why she’s like that isn’t it. There was plenty of other things for her to do in the park. But she wanted to hog the most popular don’t think so. Call me petty I don’t care.

The one he left after dropping all the debt onto me? I ditched it down the chute told him I returned it he had to pay for it

Pieceofpurplesky · Yesterday 23:08

I am ashamed of this one! I found out my ex had cheated on me. He collected rare records and had one in particular that was worth quite a bit of money. I scratched it badly. With the word cheat. Then put it back. It was years ago and I often wonder if he knows as he never played it! I mean he's been married 3 times since so it could be any of his ex wives that did it!
