The 'contact' I mentioned before is a member of the Academy and was up for an Emmy in a different category a few years ago so I'm familiar with the process lol. I asked if 'contact' remembered the total number of submissions for the Lifestyle category this year but 'contact' said no as 'why would I give a shit' about that category. When 'contact' was nominated IIRC there were like 25 submissions in their category to vote on for the final nom.

My contact was proud of the fact that 'contact' did not nominate themselves but were nominated by the production company who hired them.

WRT Royal dukedoms

Like Kent and Gloucester the Sussex and York titles are Royal Dukedoms.

When the current Dukes sadly die their male heirs become plain Dukes so Sussex will cease to be a Royal Dukedom when H dies. Think Duke of Rutland etc.

As AMW doesn’t have a son on his death the York Dukedom reverts to the Crown.

The exception is Duke of Edinburgh which KC cleverly made a lifetime Dukedom. I have said before lifetime titles make a lot of sense and I can see Louis being given a lifetime title rather than a hereditary one.

Princess Royal is also a lifetime title.
