I bet CS is gutted the House of Windsor is still standing, I’m sure HAM hot footed it over here because they thought there would be a constitutional crisis because of this book, it may be a “best seller” but personally I don’t think it’s damaged the monarchy at all apart from a 5 minute blip, unfortunately for CS he jumped the shark saying KC was giddy like a lottery winner when Diana died, he lost any credibility at that point, wonder what HAM and CS will make up for the supposed Diana film, a crime watch style reconstruction of Charles dancing on Diana’s grave?

I agree.

If you are going to lie and want to be believed then you need to construct lies which are not completely at odds with everything anybody has ever seen or heard about your victims character.

CS went too far and this means nobody can trust a word he says.

He has a very clear agenda which has been plain to the entire world since his vengeful speech at Diana’s funeral and anyone who has ever followed history and the RF knows the Spencers believe they have a better lineage than the Windsors who members of the Spencer family called “The Germans”.

Further, KC has his faults but he is a sensitive (often oversensitive) man whom even Andrew Lownie says is very kind at heart.

We all saw the then Prince Charles absolutely devastated travelling to collect Diana’s body.

He also loves his sons dearly and knew that her death would devastate her.

How does any of this add up to a man celebrating this death like a lottery win?

I don’t think Meghan will separate or divorce H until KC dies and H inherits. Although I suspect the finest legal minds will have tightly sown up KC’s will to protect it as far as possible from the claw.
It’s only in recent days have I realised the significance of KCs illness and what that might mean for HaM’s future wealth. I wonder whether the first part of the meeting at Highgrove (without M present) in July was to discuss this matter. Although supposedly the King was blindsided by their return to the UK this meeting may have been the catalyst which triggered their decision.

Lifestooshort71 · Yesterday 13:31

I don't think MM will leave/divorce Harry until unless there is a billionaire on the horizon who has fallen for her rubbish. I think she will spend more and more time elsewhere until there's a conscious uncoupling that everyone except Harry can see - they will live either side of the pond with the odd moments as a twosome. As to the HAMlets, well, she has never seemed joined at the hip with them.

People who spend their time trolling, humiliating, and tearing others down online are the lowest of the low. Cowards, probably lurking in their mum’s spare room.

Starryfifty · Yesterday 13:34

H can bring his children to see his father and stepmother without Meg. Happens all the time in families whereby a spouse doesn't get on well with in-laws etc. TBh don't see why this didn't happen in July

It was bad luck for CS that a lot of us who were around remember Diana's death and Charles's reaction to it and know that CS is talking through his hat. Either that, or he's projecting somewhat what he thinks or wants PC to have been thinking.

I reckon he was banking on anything about the memory of Diana being accepted uncritically, as she was and is treated by some as a saint. (Sorry, couldn't resist). Equally bad luck for him is that in 30 years there have been reassessments of both Diana and the Wales marriage.

Regarding titles I still think they will go ( Yorks too) and that only working Royals have them .Just my thoughts

I think at some point (whether from Charles or William) there will be a clear statement that HRH is for working royals only, and that from x date all royal Dukedoms revert to the Crown after the immediate recipient.

I don't think specific titles will be removed; there are enough other titles within the aristocracy that titles as such are not the issue.

What will H inherit? I could be wrong but I thought the next future king (William) inherits most of the wealth? H probably too stupid to realise this and is hoping for a windfall. Things will be very grim for HAM and Hamlets when William is King. Absolutely no family connection whatsoever

Archive link to Christian calendar story https://archive.is/ZktFl

I saw some of the messages. One of the posters proudly stated that she was a Sussex squad member, so it's not a supposition.

The Anglican priest was suggesting a calendar that contains Fair Trade chocolate and gives a donation to the Leprosy Mission, not one that he sells.

I did read (no idea where or if it's true) that after the AMW antics York will no longer be a royal dukedom.

AlexandraCarrington · Yesterday 14:02

The RF can trace their ancestry back to the Anglo Saxons and to Woden. Is Charles Spencer descended from a god?😀

Plus all the Danish, Russian and other royal lines that are mixed in with our RF.

Wouldn’t mind being stuck in the tower with you lot. I think it’d be a right laugh. Right up to the decapitation bit.
Only if there is copious amounts of wine!!!!

A butt of malmsey?

(Now all caught up on the thread.)

That would be a shame - it's an old title.

I think it's more likely to skip a generation and perhaps be used for one of George's sons.

By that stage AMW will be history.

KCitsweyourHammiewevecomehomenow · Yesterday 14:15

I see the squad are off terrorising priests who suggested a crazy expensive advent calendar might be missing the true meaning of Christmas and recommended giving to charity instead.

Flipping idiots

KCitsweyourHammiewevecomehomenow · Yesterday 14:16

Sorry missed this has been posted already.

Those fans are seriously toxic, and don’t help her at all.

cheezncrackers · Yesterday 14:22

Why would he announce he is marking it privately ?

Presumably to get ahead of any speculation that he might be at the Cenotaph or at some other official event, like at the National Arboretum. Clearly he hasn't received any invitations and any feelers he's put out to appear in an official capacity have been rebuffed.

They clap back at everything but will let priests be bullied and trolled online, Meghan and Harry are as disgusting as their sewer squad fans, I’m going to order the priests advent calendar in support.

Rev French with his meaningful chocolate is the sort of clever, decent Anglican priest that I thought Rev Richard Coles was until he 'collabbed' with Charles Spencer who's in league with the gruesome twosome one of whom flogs tat to gullible, nasty Sussex squaddies for a huge mark-up - that's the same squaddies who are having a pop at Anglican priests and the same Sussexes married (twice, natch) by the Archbishop of Canterbury. Gotta love it. It's mental.

I have often thought Markle herself could be one of the so-called squad's most prolific posters.

I've got a very specific question here ( well 3 actually ) Interested in any views. The advent calendar article in the DM also shows what I think is M's Only Ones Page. So the necklace is v expensive and I'm sure they would be happy with some exposure . On the page also seems to be the Cartier Tank Francais watch. (Which I have to say I really like ) So , my questions are 1) Would Cartier advertise on the likes of Only Ones. 2) Does M get a commission from all sales from that watch or only those who buy it via Only Ones. If I were spending that much I would go straight into a Cartier showroom and get the proper experience - because given it is a linked bracelet watch surely it has to be fitted. 3) Is it a bit distasteful to be flogging a present given by H from his mother for commission.

I don't know how this site works , I can imagine dresses , shirts etc link to the website and choose the size etc. But £50k necklaces and £20k watches - surely , at least Cartier doesn't need this as advertising. I don't know. Anyone who does know how it works , I appreciate a comment

That's all - off to feed the dog for a moment 😂🐾 Oh it's all glamour in the Basilisk household , I tell you.

ETA if that photo of things she is selling isn't actually her and a mockup - then my questions are redundant 😊

I’ve never liked Richard Coles, he lied about having HIV back in the eighties, he’s expressed his shame about doing that but I’ve never had a good feeling about him.

Remember the website linking to a charity because Meghan’s ARO team forgot to buy it? 😂

Ah, those were the days!

@PullTheBricksDown Hi. In response to your question to me on the previous thread about Omid Scobie supposedly being a mouthpiece for HAM and apparently publicly declaring their "official" position on Archie. Omid is just another scam hack, like the rest of them. They may have used have him on occasion in the past to get some notions they wanted out there - like they do with Chris Ship, who is otherwise wholly ignorant of what they're up to - but Omid is not anything really to do with them. He's not an official spokesperson, he doesn't know their real positions or plans or anything. He's just another one who spouts whatever comes into his head if it can get him some attention.

Mylovelygreendress · Yesterday 14:30

@BasiliskStare is it possible M borrows jewellery and clothing for specific purposes?

AlexandraCarrington · Yesterday 14:33

That would be a shame - it's an old title.

I agree. There have been honourable Dukes of York - King George VI, for example.

It seems Kent and Gloucester, two other ancient titles, will no longer be royal dukedoms when the present holders die. It would be a shame to lose York too.

cheezncrackers · Yesterday 14:35

Let's face it - they aren't going to be invited to anything this Christmas. The RF don't want them anywhere where they can cause drama and controversy or feel slighted and go running to media and tell tales, hence the rumours of an 'early Christmas' tea with KC. That will spare their blushes somewhat at not being invited to Christmas at Sandringham and make KC look kind for fitting them in.

It must be humiliating for them though - surely? It's one thing to be NFI when you live 8,000 miles away and quite another when you're only up the road. But they weren't invited to much when they were in CA either and anything they were invited to, no doubt the organisers bitterly regretted it afterwards, what with 'near catastrophic car chases' and panicked requests for photos to be deleted after they'd been published. Apparently Meghan has been desperate for an invite to the Met Ball ever since they moved to the US, but Anna Wintour has no intention of choosing Meghan over the RF, so tough luck!
