I think if the trousers were shortened by about 10cms, and paired with a neat fitting navy jacket, they'd look ok. The shoes are fine.

I doubt she'd have a marked police car trailing her. It could have been for someone or something entirely unrelated. Close personal protection is usually very discreet.

The bag M is carrying features women in hijabs on it so could well have been given to her at the meeting by Malala. Hopefully M has been Malala’d as much as Malala has been Markled.

I suspect one reason for the meeting was to discuss Malala appearing in the Diana documentary to say how much of an inspiration Diana has been to Malala in her work re girls and education. If so I trust Malala to be smart and switched on enough to understand the optics and HaMs motives and make whatever is the best decision for her.
