Well...in brief
It was the advent of a calendar more doors than Diana,

I do think M is very happy to aim upwards and ( can't remember the reference - but it goes along the lines of "let's be friends " and the next day H is asking to use their beach house ) . Does anyone recognise this and can help me out with a reference?
It does appear to me that the titles make H&M feel entitled to ask for big favours. To be fair I suspect the titles do make some people inclined to give them favours for whatever reason.

I think it was Truman Capote who referred to "liggers" who were hangers on to very wealthy heiresses eg Barbara Woolworth Hutton or "Babe" Paley, ie hanging out on their yachts etc. ( I think it was "Answered Prayers" - I would have to check) That said , I personally wouldn't want to live my life borrowing things from friends because I couldn't afford it. (It goes without saying my life is very different and private jets , country estates and sprawling luxury holiday homes don't feature highly 😂 . )

I may use my influence as one who helped water the church garden with buckets over the heatwave to ask if I can borrow their loppers to trim back some ivy in my tiny patio garden. Oh! my entitlement knows no bounds 😎🌿🍃✂

Pretty sure that referred to Victoria Jackson . I did read that Victoria has backed away .

There were several instances of this, one the beach house with an accompanying request for the beach house's owners private jet. I don't blame them. The local authority waiting list for a beach hut in Goring is seven years. If I could jump that queue, I would.

They over stayed their welcome in Tyler Perry's mansion and took selfies and shared them which I think got them ousted.

They asked to use a Montecito's (flying circus) neighbour's tennis court, again, no quibble there, you can't book a padel court here for love nor money- the neighbour obliged gladly....until they demanded he leave his own property and they have exclusive use "securidee". And they were 4 hours late.

There's other examples but those stand out
