I never find MM’s interaction with children convincing, hers or anyone else’s. It’s as though she barely knows them.

If you look at L's body language in the side-on shot, she's looking down and her hands and dropped, MM is smiling widely and grabbing L's hands but L isn't meeting her eye contact or her energy. (Her hair is a bit unloved for a kid in a photo to be broadcast far and near, I'm not saying children must be perfectly turned out, I'm just saying mums usually attempt to smooth the locks of the children before a major photo situation)

Detractors to the above will say it's one photo. Yes. It's just one but it's one HaM chose to use.

@JudgeJ
I would be very surprised if he has been to Holkham, they came under a lot of fire when Kate was ill but it hadn't been announced, plenty of people were making spurious suggestions about William and the lady whose name I forget. If anyone wants to stay on the right side of William they will be avoiding AMW like the plague! I can confirm he has never had a turnip here, maybe we're not toffish enough!

I think you meant Houghton Hall. I believe the residents of Holkham Hall are more elderly 🙂

Yes, sorry, should have indeed have been Houghton, maybe the residents of Holkham would welcome some excitement in their lives though!

Oh H. Chelsey Davey has published a blog post on her Aya jewellery website saying that she had given no thought to marriage or motherhood until she met her husband and knew that she was wanted both, with him. If H is still holding an (As ever) candle for her, this will sting. Covered in the Daily Mail (and not behind a pay wall)!

I am sure good wife M is authentically standing by ready to elevate him and see the world through his lens.

Maybe M will realise that she was the last one left in the barrel, none of his other ex girlfriends seem to have lost out by refusing to marry him! As he knew them for a lot longer than he knew MM they would have had the time to really see his character and they walked away.

I doubt that the 'Sussex Squad', ie the SS, expected the C of E vicars to take their trolling to the national press, hence increasing the number of the proper Advent calendars sold enormously!

It's like they are trying to sabotage the reconciliation with KC3. It couldn't get much worse....could it?!

Damn clever though. Let no-one say the CoE can't spot a commercial opportunity when it's handed to them gift-wrapped.

But if they did would it be like Father Ted?
” I’m so,so soooorrry”

That's the sort of 'apology' pupils were pressured to give after their appalling behaviour and I would often say Thanks for your apology, I accept it in the same spirit in which it is given. Usually it was beyond their comprehension.

The 8th Earl of Leicester, head honcho at Holkham, is three years younger than me at 61. Hardly elderly these days. Wife is a couple of years younger.

I suspect they got approval from head of CoE ahead of going to the press.

Ref Holkham, Ralph Fiennes’ brother and twin of Joseph is the conservation manager - fabulous walled gardens and shop (Rosebud podcast with RF is very good)

I'm still fuming that they closed the cafe next to the Victoria Hotel and turned it into more rooms, they did a lovely sausage roll!

AlexandraCarrington · Yesterday 20:08

I wonder how much of her stuff is actually selling ?

She'd have to be shifting huge quantities to make the sort of money she's looking for, wouldn't she. If she was doing that, it would be a story on the business news pages.

Still, some people are benefiting - the Trussell Trust did quite well and Highgrove jam sold out for a time. Now it's the Leprosy Mission.

Seeing the them getting a roasting themselves in the Daily Mail - fair play, what goes round comes round.

Meanwhile....has Harry actually done anything? Anything worthwhile in the last month?

Whatever they intended, it's certainly backfired on them!

Just watched a wee video of Willliam in Somerset today . He looked very relaxed , happy and up close chatting to people etc but what struck me was his security , clearly watching everything but casually dressed ( in clothes that fitted ! ) smiling , unobtrusive.
Not pushing people away .

In the 1980s, a series of feminist pop art postcards included one of a furious women shouting in fury at a man standing in front of her. She was saying 'I wanted to have a baby, not marry one!'

I think Chelsey and Cressida after a while must have seen H as a high-maintenance man-baby, with the challenges of the strictures of the Royal family thrown in. Who would? Well, Meghan did, jumping in blind, while listening to the tick of her body clock and the hammering of overweening ambition on her bi-racial skull.

Awake in the dead of night, what does she think now, eight years post-St George's Chapel Windsor?

I hope the Meaningful Chocolate Company gets a lot of sales after this!

I’ve just ordered two calendars. I hope many people do the same. I think it’s so funny that her nasty bullying ‘squad’ have managed to give this company so much free publicity, much more than M’s overpriced shit chocolate calendar will get. Well done the Sussex Squad - you’ve done a sterling job. 😂

They are getting really desperate now. Too little, too late I think.

He's always very modest and low key. He never makes the engagement about him, it's always about the people and the cause.
Of course, that's where he differs from his brother; Harry wants fame and money. William wants to make a difference.

Same audio clip I think, Starry. Which is why it seems incongruous and out of context.

I heard it and thought that is fake. There's something odd about it - almost like a Disney voice.
