Inappropriate photo op for William and catherine

This was at an event this week. But the photo just made me gasp. It looks like the elderly woman is being used as a prop, rather than being treated in a dignified way.

To add to all that, I believe the entire point is just to rile here. It’s not actually about Catherine and William, it’s that they think attacking them will teach posters who criticise HAM a lesson.

It’s off the mark though. Almost no one here is out duping Catherine’s earrings or wanging on about what kinds of cookware she uses. She is well regarded but doesn’t have the devoted fan base that Meghan has. So she’s this innocent party in the whole thing.

This thread should stand as an excellent example of how things and certain posters operate on here

Yep, and the majority appear to be brand new to the threads, no doubt we will never see these names again until more brand new posters appear on the next thread trying to disparage Catherine whilst using innocent people as a weapon.

It’s always when HAM are making ocean-going tits of themselves that these low-lifes tend to creep out of the woodwork with their utterly desperate posts.

Catherine just has CLASS. She is polite, humble and doesn’t make it about her. When you’ve seen royalling done wrong (looking at you, Meghan), my God, you appreciate someone who does it superbly.

That becomes more and more apparent. Princess of Wales is a step up from Duchess of Cambridge, and she has risen to it superbly, despite the health challenges and the personal attacks. She can be dignified and regal, or warm and down to earth, as the occasion requires, but never inappropriate.

And how many lied are written on other threads aboit H&M, saying this is why they do x y z, they are skint thatd why they came back (lie), they went to help out at rhe LA fires is grief tourism (lie), they are using sick children for PR opportunity (lie). Look at this video she was not happy (lie) or look st how she did x in this video (lie) ...Yet its just gossiping or funny and entertaining to make comments based on rumours, made up stuff, interpreting a second of a video and conflating it the verybtjing you are arguing here is wrong etc. 🤔

The ‘verybtjing’ about it is that H&M are public figures (as they have been very keen to point out recently) and these photos are not showing public figures but private citizens (which H&M have been at great pains to point out that they are not).

Posters here think there is a difference, H&M think there is a difference.

This is nothing to do with grief tourism, gossip or anything else.

But I’m sure you realise that.

If that's true, report those posts, challenge them or ignore them.
Instead, you have chosen to present W&K in this way, it's not true, it's nasty and you are exploiting an innocent elderly woman.
How on earth you can justify that by claiming some defence of H&M is astounding.

To which I'd add, "...also never post so pissed off that you can't proof read".
It just looks like you're spitting with anger and over-involved, however much you "lol" elsewhere.

To add: I know that you're not the original OP, but you have chosen to support the use of this image, and I can't see how you can justify it at all.

I’m not sure what any of that has to do with my comments here or with this picture that you seem to recognize as being deceptive.

If you have issues with other things on other threads you should challenge them on the thread.

Imitating behaviour that you know to be wrong destroys your case and your moral authority. What your defence of this photo underscores is that you agree with the practice overall.

I base my dislike oh HAM on what they’ve done and said on film. I don’t need to resort to lies and malicious gossip (which is what the anti W and C lot do, as you can see with the dishonest OP on this thread). I don’t need manipulated images to try and con people.

My dislike of the HAMs is due to their own words and deeds. They have behaved very badly and no wonder they are unpopular on both sides of the Atlantic!

W and C meanwhile have been victims of their spite but nevertheless carry on their roles brilliantly. That’s why nasty people have to make up stuff about them because there isn’t any actual stuff to accuse them of.

That’s what this nasty thread is based on - using false information to try to whip up anti-W and C feeling.

I wasn't referring to you though was I. I referred to the PR disaster threads where manipulated images are used to poke fun at H&M. It is also full of gossip and rumours, plenty of posters making comments that Meghan is doing x y z when noone actually knows anything.

So whilst you may not choose to do it yourself you do frequent those threads and comment on them, but funnily enough you don't tell those posters off or say anything to them.

Hence the double standards. 😉

I've just had a look at that PR thread - there's no comparison to this. Whatsoever. They're discussing H&M posing outside a pub, and what Angela Kelly might reveal.
Nothing approaching the nastiness of this. No exploiting elderly women for starters.

How is it a lie that they used sick children? Meghan was quite open about it - she went and had photos taken at a children’s hospital - some of the children were half dressed and on drips, looked very unwell. None of them had their faces hidden or obscured. And then she posted them with links where people could buy the outfit she was wearing, from which sales she would earn commission. She did the same with a visit to the scene of a terrorist atrocity where she met survivors. There’s no need to defend her or try to deny it, she was evidently quite comfortable with it and happy for everyone to know what she was doing.

Good god. I remember the pictures from Bondi Beach, the scene of the worst anti-Semitic atrocity in Australian history.....and Meghan added a link to where you could buy her outfit.
