Inappropriate photo op for William and catherine

This was at an event this week. But the photo just made me gasp. It looks like the elderly woman is being used as a prop, rather than being treated in a dignified way.

It’s pathetic and childish.

Catherine looks great though and William
quite fun.

Yes, I think the nastiness has backfired! W&K look great and it shows them engaging with the most vulnerable in such a pleasant and positive way.
You'd have to go pretty low to pick on this stuff.

I think desperate. Grasping for ways to attack William and Catherine in order to combat criticism of HAM won’t show them in a better light.

my objections to this thread actually have less to do with the wales and more to do with the exploitation of vulnerable elderly women! , why are they being used against their will to further a narrative?

these women are not celebrities but ordinary people, I have a good mind to contact their relatives and inform them of exactly how their images are being used here.

Absolutely agree with this ~ the first lady has even been named. It's totally unacceptable and I can't begin to imagine how these two ladies and their families would feel if they knew about the images being used in this way

Yes, that's how I feel. W&K are public figures, and are open to criticism. Elderly women they come across as part of their work? Not fair game for ridicule to jab at others.

This thread should stand as an excellent example of how things and certain posters operate on here. It shows them in their true light and how they operate. They will use ANYONE to back up their point. It is quite simply a dig at the Princess of Wales going about her everyday activities and interacting with ordinary members of the public. What are they actually suggesting here ? That Catherine goes out to specifically find old people to be photographed with to make her appearance look good? That she uses them as a " prop"? The older the better, the more unfortunate looking the better ? I mean - that is insane. What kind of mind thought do you have to possess to think like that ? The thing is - they know it doesn't happen! They know it's an unfortunate click of a shutter BUT they post with faux surprise posing as a more moral person. 🤷‍♀️. We see you and despite all the excuses we still see you for what you are.
