This was at an event this week. But the photo just made me gasp. It looks like the elderly woman is being used as a prop, rather than being treated in a dignified way.

Hi folks
Just a reminder that if you do not like a thread, you're not obliged to post - the hide button exists for this very reason! Please do hide the thread if you don't like the discussion - and please do avoid making personal attacks on other posters.

Hi all, Just a reminder that we are a discussion site so we welcome discussion and varying opinion, a hive mind would become very tedious very quickly. Please knock off the personal attacks - play the ball, not the woman.

Hi noonames, These are our age-old guidelines, just keep to them and you won't go far wrong. We're a discussion site, we value the back and forth of discussion, it's what we're all here for. If not, we could be loading the dishwasher or solving the Collatz Conjecture or whatever else we magnificent (mainly) mothers do on the daily. But descending into personal attacks is against our guidelines and always has been, so we would appreciate it if MNers could keep the place tidy by reporting when they see them. Cheers, thanks!
