I am currently reading Russsll Myers Catherine & William. Enjoying it but one thing that stands out is how the Middletons have never put a foot wrong.
Carole was not from an aristocratic background nor was Michael but they raised their kids not to put a step wrong. Kate also had embarrassing family members (Uncle Gary) but she still invited him to the wedding which was the right thing to do & it nipped the media scandal in the bud & took the wind out of any sails.. Meghan invited none of her extended family or her dad & it caused massive media speculation.
Kate was born for royal life & is a natural. Very proud of our future queen. Her parents did an amazing job.

I don't dislike Catherine. How childish. She is a stranger to me.
I think her public persona is boring. She walks, she smiles, she wears clothes, that's it. She likes cocktails and sunny places, loves her children and is sporty. Her public persona is of an identikit Barbie.

I agree very much that although Catherine has receive some awful press in the past, the current narrative is very positive, as with Camilla, because the press love to play up the saint v sinner ridiculousness!

I have never known the press to be so respectful actually of Charles, Camilla, William and Catherine.

Don’t get me wrong, I think Catherine does an extremely professional job. But I agree that the exaggerated praise for closing your own car door or whatever it is gets a little ridiculous and I’m sure she would agree!

Personally, I think she and Meghan both have assets that would have benefited the RF in different ways but I know I will be shouted down for saying that.

The poster does not dislike Catherine because there is nothing publicly known about her to dislike.

They just want to punish her because Meghan has shown her arse so many times and has an 18% popularity rating with the public.

That thread she created about William and Kate with the photo was absolutely vile.

I think @myrtleWilson is spot on.

There’s full video of Harry and Meghan getting a photo op with a disabled child then walking away without even speaking to them.

They were trying to reproduce that with this one photo and happy to use this lovely woman to do it.

You are right and clearly we’ve entered another time like the “Where’s Kate” period.

Sources close to HAM told People magazine that this time things will be different for them living in UK because their “network” is better prepared.

I think that is relevant. It’s also speaks to how Harry and Meghan view other people as solely existing to support them.

I think so - I’ll try to find the photo later and then the full video. It’s one where Meghan’s face changed entirely after the photographer gets the photo. I guess she didn’t count on the video.

Is that the one at the pre-Invictus Games event in Canada? I’m thinking of a video where Meghan is walking along then spots a photographer with a boy in a wheelchair. She bobs down next to him, flashes a massive smile at the camera, then gets up and walks on without even speaking to the boy or his parents. Really upsetting to watch.
