I am currently reading Russsll Myers Catherine & William. Enjoying it but one thing that stands out is how the Middletons have never put a foot wrong.
Carole was not from an aristocratic background nor was Michael but they raised their kids not to put a step wrong. Kate also had embarrassing family members (Uncle Gary) but she still invited him to the wedding which was the right thing to do & it nipped the media scandal in the bud & took the wind out of any sails.. Meghan invited none of her extended family or her dad & it caused massive media speculation.
Kate was born for royal life & is a natural. Very proud of our future queen. Her parents did an amazing job.

Firstly, I don’t imagine any of us were there.

Secondly, your point was that Meghan was right to reject Lady Susan Hussey as a guide for Meghan as Lady Susan was racist. This point was completely undermined for you by Harry himself though, who said he and Meghan knew what Lady Susan meant, and she had meant no harm, and he and Meghan loved her and thought she was great. So Meghan hadn’t rejected her help because she thought Lady Susan was racist.

I am interested in the actual monarchy, the members and the institution. So I think it's relevant that a woman who was a long standing lady in waiting was also clearly racist. And what did surprise me, unrelentingly rude.

Actually, if anything it shows that Harry was being genuine, because he and Meghan could have very much exploited that situation if they had wanted to for their own ends.

As a taxpayer I am very invested as I do not wish my hard earned money to cover the security of a pair of non working trouble makers! And the feeling is mutual however I wouldn't spit full stop as it is a vile disgusting habit.

The harsh truth is even royal supporters find Catherine too boring in her public persona to spend a whole thread talking about her.

It deviated which usually happens on chat forums!
The contrast was made between the supportive, loving, functional family that shaped Catherine & how her & William are emulating the same for their own children to that of Markles.
Markles upbringing & her subsequent relationship with all her family is highly dysfunctional , chaotic & erratic.
Sadly the circle is continuing for her own children.
It was an observation into how the loving, supportive, functional Middletons have played such an important role in the upbringing of the Wales children.
I feel nothing but pity for Hams kids having no relationship with any family members due to their parents actions.

The harsh truth is that Catherine doesn’t need to twerk for clicks/bucks.

There is plenty to say about women who do.

We can watch two women be their authentic selves and comment accordingly.

Sometimes it is preferable to not have a lot to say about someone.

No thread stays on Catherine, never. It's always a few posts of how wonderful Catherine is, and then deviates onto harry and Meghan.

Catherine's public persona is so boring there is nothing to say. Even threads about her clothes don't get many listings. The only place I have ever seen a post on Catherine stay about her and have lots of posts is on a strange sub Reddit where you get loads and loads of comments just posting a few words like, she is so beautiful. It reads like bots talking to each other.

No post here about Catherine will stay focused on her for long.

Yep absolutely, Catherine was raised better than that by the Middletons. Thankfully Catherine & William know that family is everything & their beautiful children will be raised in a fully functional, loving home.

No-one is saying she is 100% wonderful.

What some class as boring? Fair enough.

There is nothing much to be said about quiet elegance.

There is a lot to be said about someone who tries very hard to wipe her past out with a cashmere jumper and flower sprinkles.

I agree. I would much prefer to be seen as reliable, diligent, consistent & stoic to being seen as a chaotic, erratic dysfunctional trouble making liar!
You can tell an awful lot about a person by the way the relationship they have with their own family & their in laws!

All of you who support the royals simply say how wonderful Catherine is. She gets praised very highly for doing fairly ordinary things like talking to a child. Nothing negative is ever said about her and anyone who says anything negative at all is immediately pounced on.
What else would you call that except treating her like a living saint?
