Kate & The Middletons

I am currently reading Russsll Myers Catherine & William. Enjoying it but one thing that stands out is how the Middletons have never put a foot wrong.
Carole was not from an aristocratic background nor was Michael but they raised their kids not to put a step wrong. Kate also had embarrassing family members (Uncle Gary) but she still invited him to the wedding which was the right thing to do & it nipped the media scandal in the bud & took the wind out of any sails.. Meghan invited none of her extended family or her dad & it caused massive media speculation.
Kate was born for royal life & is a natural. Very proud of our future queen. Her parents did an amazing job.

I give up. As I said before you just want to ramble on about Harry & Meghan, your last post is absolutely nothing to do with Kate, William and the Middletons. I have asked you questions about Kate/Pippa, as has another poster, and you just ignore that and launch a tirade against Harry & Meghan
Perhaps it is just best if you talk to yourself and launch all your attacks about them on your own.

We had "Poor Doria" and now we have "Poor Thomas Markle" 😅😅😅😅
Poor Thomas lol

Your thread is a ridiculous hot mess

I know absolutely nothing about Kate & Pippa's relationship! Do you care to elaborate on what you mean?

Also I'm not launching attacks & calling out the bullshit!
Yes we have poor Doria & Poor Thomas, the way they were treated has been horrific.
Dont give the hypocritical that Thomas Markle was selling stories to the press because Ham have been peddling their inaccuracies to any publication that would give them money selling out the royal family.

Katie is doing more than enough. She is recovering from cancer, is a good daughter, a mother to three children & family is the most important thing in life. Her & William have their priorities right. Family is everything.

Really? If only others in the same circumstances got the luxury of doing very little work with no resultant drop in salary or material benefits!

Catherine is doing more than enough for her charities & as a mother, daughter & wife.

A royal life is one that not many can handle due to the pressures sure Megs only lasted a wet week & fled to become a private citizen (albeit one who still wanted all the trapping of a royal life with taxpayer funded security without doing any work & living abroad😆)

Can't stand H&M. They are a disgrace. And yes poor Thomas Markle. What a nasty daughter he has.

Opinions may differ

Thomas Markle was the one who supported Megs during her teenage years when Doria wasn't around.. where was Doria?
Look at the thanks he got. 82 years old & an amputated leg, no contact from Ham.. Archie & Lily will be able to read all the articles in the future about how their other Grandad (the one who's not king) wanted desperately to meet them but his wishes were ignored... the dysfunction is so toxic & unfair to let it fester into the next generation.

It’s your opinion that she’s doing ‘more than enough’. And I’m saying that it’s an awful shame that others who have similar circumstances, young children, aging parents and recovery from serious illness, can’t decide to prioritise family and do very little work and still get all the material benefits of their role. What a privilege she has.

simpsonthecat · 20/09/2026 09:20

This thread contravenes the Official Descriptions Act. 😅
If I'd known it was going to be another let's pour vitriol on H&M, I would've avoided it like the plague.
It's nothing to do with the thread title except to worship Kate from afar like she is some sort of deity, but primarily started to pour scorn and hate on H&M. Threads like that are two a penny on here, they are very boring and repetitive and I don't bother with them.
Maybe next time OP, title your thread in a more honest manner

Maybe go out & try and find an eligible prince for yourself & you could have the same! Whats stopping you?!

It wouldn't be for me, I would find royal life absolutely stifling & the pressure immense , Kate does her role immensely well & never shows the pressure she clearly must be under.

Vitriol?? Is that the new word for "truth" & calling out inaccuracies & hypocrisy?!!

Yeah… way to miss the point!
Acknowledging the immense privilege Kate has in being able to prioritise her family over work, and yet not experience any diminution in material benefits would be a reasonable position. Pretending that’s similarly available to others if they only went out and sought it is disingenuous, at best.

the op won't even own the fact that this is a meghan bashing thread.
why don't they just post on the pr threads.
then they can use childish names like Ham.

Tabbytiger122 · 20/09/2026 09:52

"Meghan bashing" is that what is calling out the truth.
Also comparisons were made in the family environment both Catherine & Meghan grew up in & the relationships they have with extended & immediate family now.. it's very interesting to see how the cycles continue.

I really don't know how you can defend the indefensible (ham)

What am I defending? I am saying I don't go on the H&M hate threads because they are tedious, repetitive and boring. Now..that may be misconstrued by you as defending but it's my prerogative to swerve them

Thank you, yes. My sentiments exactly. Wrong thread title here and just an extension of the 40,000 plus posts on those PR threads.

Some hypocritical charlatans were saying poor Thomas was cut off because he sold photos to the papers..
Failing to recognise the irony of Ham doing the exact same for a much greater amount of money peddling their stinking, dirty laundry to Oprah ,Netflix etc & selling multiple stories about the Royal Family..

Yet poor Thomas Markle is the blame.. the funny thing is Ham expect full forgiveness for their actions but won't forgive Thomas for the exact same behaviour .

Catherine is doing more than enough for her charities & as a mother, daughter & wife.

It's quite hard to see nine years' work culminating in five big questions as doing more than enough.

OneLilacHedgehog · 20/09/2026 10:43

The Five Questions

  • What is most important for a happy adult life? Participants were asked to rank factors like physical/mental health, relationships, opportunities, and education.
  • Whose responsibility is it? Respondents chose statements on who holds the primary responsibility to give young children the best chance at health and happiness.
  • Impact of parent/carer mental health: People were asked how much they agree that the mental wellbeing of parents and carers affects a young child's development.
  • Nature versus nurture: The survey asked what has the strongest influence on a child's development between biological factors (nature) and environmental factors (nurture).
  • Most critical period in life: Participants identified which specific stage of a young person's life matters most for securing long-term adult health and happiness
EmpressSisi · 20/09/2026 11:03

You don’t have to belittle her actual good work just because you personally don’t like her.

She played a key role in bringing the Alarm Distress Baby Scale (ADBB) to the UK after seeing it used by health visitors in Denmark, and the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood has funded successive trials of the approach in NHS health visiting services.

That’s a genuine contribution, whether you like her or not.

GstaadGuyIsModeratelyHot · 20/09/2026 11:49

I'm curious. Why is everyone 'poor xxx' to you op?
You seem to have a bee in your bonnet.
Are you poor, op? Do you have a poverty mindset?
Not a wealth of thinking going on, that's for sure.

I feel ridiculously sorry for the poor Markle Family, Doria's side & also poor Archie & Lili who are completely estranged from both Harry & Meghans families through no fault of their own.
