Oh brutal!! , but I can’t help but wonder why it falls to regular people from Reddit and x to investigate and reveal this information instead of actual journalists!

There isn’t any kicking off. Not even when I’m asking for help with homework 🙈. It’s a nice group to be in. It’s there for practical reasons and people respect that.

If there is another group running alongside it then it would be an informal one and I’d not be any part of it out of choice. I think I’d know about it though as a good friend of mine is the class mum and it would have come up in conversation. She wouldn’t be a part of it either.

We also have very strict laws here about what can and can’t be said about people in real life or on social media, so for example any WhatsApp group discussing a teacher and attacking them professionally could very easily end up in the public prosecutors office and people being asked to explain what they said. Even a heated argument between parents in the group to the extent insults are flying, or for eg any kind of disagreement anywhere where tempers could be raised and someone is insulted can also end up in the public prosecutors.

In fact I may have once ended up there myself after telling a health care professional they were useless at their job. I was said to have insulted their professional integrity. It worked out ok for me but it doesn’t for everyone.

Yes , it’s definitely odd ! , I don’t think we will find out , but if it’s the official school WhatsApp then it’s unlikely that they would leak 🤔
edit to add …I’m not convinced the mums would leak either, they would be used to “celebrity “ parents and surely they would be doxing their own phone numbers too?!

Since the thread opened up to so many new posters I’m finding we’ve sacrificed quality for quantity to quite an extent. I can’t believe some of the things I’m reading and the sources they’re coming from, it’s just absolute dross. Yes there were some daft ideas posted before but they were very much in the minority.

Firstly, they shouldn’t be at the door waiting
Then Charles goes over to warn them to stay put to allow the Q, him, W& C to enter the room to view the items on display
They ignore Charles, even though he puts out a hand to hold them back as well as speaking to them
They try to join in but are shepherded out by staff

Why in the name of God didn’t H just TELL her? And why did he disobey Charles’s instruction and follow her?

He is an idiot and this incident, to me , is the whole disaster of their time as royals in a nutshell: pushy M just will not be told, and H is too pathetic to put her right.

Particularly as this meeting was at his own house !! , odd that she knew Fergie….but thought Andrew was a servant! 🙄

It’s all bonkers. It is possible to be in a group and withhold your details and as someone said a few posts back - surely if you’re worried about security you know how to keep yourself secure even at the most basic level.

I’m not entirely comfortable with this to be honest, the threads have not opened up , they have always been open, and the people discussing the blinds are not new posters, new posters are always welcome and obviously they may well not have followed the back story like older posters , so they are coming forth with what they have read …if you doubt the sources it’s better to explain why in a kind manner rather than assume any bad intent .

The thing is, it's only a screenshot. We don't see anyone's numbers. In order to see the number you'd have to find the contact and look for the number. I believe it's also possible to register without sharing your number. So there is no 'security threat' whatsoever.

I agree with you that I don't see anyone from the school sharing this. As I said above, how would it be worth it to them? I definitely think this came from Meghan's 'team'. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the whole page and 'group' are fabricated. It would be very easy to do, even for her.

That's made me laugh. I don't know the definition of a HNW parent , but I wasn't one by any definition. I could certainly be frazzled on occasion. & if a convoy blocked the very specific route round the car park laid down by the school , so that multiple cars could deliver two children, I might not have quite written a sternly worded to the Telegraph , but I might have mentioned it next time I was in the school office ( in office because owing to morning rush I had forgotten to take DS's model of a viking ship with him and so had to dash home and deliver it to the school over my lunch break) . @mummypigoink . I look back on those days and think however did I have the energy. I certainly wouldn't have had extra energy for dealing with other parents' hifalutin nonsense. 😊

Don't underestimate a yummy mummy intent on getting her little darling to school on time. Plus H&M aren't the only people driving huge SUVs able to muscle in at roundabouts and junctions.

And whilst I don't underestimate a well trained driver, I think it's rather dangerous to be in a convoy trying to keep together at school rush hour in a congested area like Oxford. Lots of cyclists weaving in and out, people stepping out at zebra crossings etc, traffic calming and even with a 20mph speed limit, speeding up to get across a traffic light when the car in front has gone is not always a good idea. I think for the safety of everyone travelling to school or work in that part of Oxford the absence of a convoy driven by a paranoid Prince and beefy security blokes is a blessing.

My DCs were lucky if I slowed down enough to allow them to safely commando roll out of the back of the car as I hurtled past the school gates.

The school run is legendary in its craziness!! Years before I even had children, I had heard about it!! …….it was worse than I expected…..like a war zone, where apparently normal people lose all knowledge of how to drive and decency are completely blind to the safety of any other child but their own ….frankly I was shocked and traumatised by it.
as someone who lived near and worked in Oxford years ago it’s fairly obvious that it’s not somewhere where driving is advisable unless you live in the surrounding countryside.
