Well, a large number of people on reddit claim that they wrote to the IRS about Archewell. If a IRS employee looked at Charity Watch, red flags would go up. Also, I can see a Sussex employee pissing off an IRS employee who is doing a routine inquiry.

I am so glad that WhatsApp groups didn't exist back in my day of kids in primary school. We had some scandals that would not have played out well via the medium of messaging. They required tact and diplomacy, and for 'cooler heads to prevail' without written records existing of stuff like, 'Paula says that Sasha turned up shanted again to collect Stromboli and so we're not going to their party on Saturday if there's going to be day drinking. I knew that Priory stint was a waste of time'.

Believe it or not, I was often cast into the 'diplomat' role, perhaps due to being one of the older mothers, although I can't see that role falling to M somehow. Tbh, I wouldn't even tell M or H my name, let alone be in a WhatsApp group with them. They are so bloody indiscreet and toxic. I suspect I value my privacy, security and sanity a lot more than they value theirs.

I had a look at one of the ‘blinds’ linked - it me feel grubby.

Again, if something like this does actually happen, there would be a paper trail. Not just 'blinds' on X from people who very clearly don't understand what they're talking about.

I was on a BA flight the other day. One of the charities is Earthshot and there's William sitting in the audience. This will be Harry's next ambition 😂

I think Meghan needs serious professional help. She's either very poorly or she's hooking Harry along with this as she did initially to her ends.

I missed it for my daughter as she’s older than my son….but it’s a hive of gossip and scandal ! And those who think that only women gossip? No the men are just as bad ……I eventually found out because after a school trip that I had attended the day before my dh did the pick-up the next day …..another dad there then told him about the scandalous carry on from the trip and the unfolding mess that continued onto the WhatsApp into the evening….he assumed I knew because I would have seen it on the chat……I had no idea 🤷‍♀️ but got added after when I questioned another mum the next morning……to late for that excitement though! …..it was excellent gossip! 😢

He also has a long military career and is the same age as PH - wonder if their paths crossed?

A lot of them simply seem to be saying that M shagged about a bit before she married H. Personally I don't think this is a big deal. Who cares? I don't. If it's even true, then surely any shame should be on the horrible US casting system in the entertainment industry. So I just want to get that out there - and make the point that it's American/US 'blinds' that are pushing the misogyny, not a talk board from the UK.

I am, however, bothered about HaM's appalling behaviour as a duo since meeting each other; and also any illegalities of H's during his adult life and his misogyny while enjoying royal privileges. I am particularly pissed of by their current shenanigans and attempts at PR spin that once again makes the UK out to be an awful country that's just not good enough for them.

My primary class parent WhatsApp group continued through secondary but is terribly mundane compared to everyone else’s it seems. Mostly quiet apart from questions about school stuff like when do reports come out. Or occasionally does someone know a good tree surgeon?

How would a random X account, particularly one called Queer Lips of Truth, know anything about this?

@SanguineAutumnalCrow I too am of an age where WhatApp groups weren't a thing when DS was at primary school It sounds unbelievable but I think the school did a printed sheet of parents' phone numbers , although I think you had to give your permission for it to be included. 😯 It's a long time ago so I may be misremembering .

But yes to your point. There will parents who value their privacy and that of their children who would run a mile from the Sussex farrago. Who wants to get mixed up in that. I pity the school ( & I'm not interested in which one it is , I don't need to know ) who has to manage not only the Sussexes but those parents who are not best pleased at the circus which may have come to town.

Yes this is the thing, he flounced off and failed to realise that leaving the work meant no longer having the work arrangements in place.

I find H's lax behaviour over security quite extraordinary. I have several friends who are ex-military and served in conflict zones. They are always warned not to talk about the detail of their service in any capacity. The claims in Spare about H's service in Afghanistan not only runs against this advice but effectively paints a target on HAM's back. Given the editing process left this in I can only see this as deliberate.

Just to say - i havent read the whole thread - in my children private school the whatsapp group are automatically renewed every year. Either the school or someone you know/just met in your yr group will
add you, or would contact someone they know in the relevant yr group and form to add you.
then we re all admins so everyone can add, not the just the class rep.
—> not asking for comments re our schools whatsapps, it works for the parents at our school but i agree it wont work for everyone.

just saying with my experience that it is possible and plausible MeghAn was added straight away in the whatsapp group.
