On a more positive note, Prince William just got great American press from his Dartmoor visit yesterday. Look at him with those llamas:

Such a great cause, he just gets on with things.

How would moving to the UK help?

I know we don't discuss diagnoses here, and I don't think it necessarily falls into the classic psychiatric version of paranoia anyway (not that I know much about these things, but we're not talking about voices in the head type of paranoia), but I am wondering if all this drama maybe more simply due to Harry being extremely fixated about the safety issue as opposed to being purely about the drama/pressuring Ravec or my previous supposition that they simply hadn't realised how long that school run would be and decided it wasn't for them. It's just so bonkers having a convoy for the school run - how do they see that panning out for the next fifteen years?
It's a huge shame for the children because they must absorb that anxiety - imagine them sitting in the car whilst their parents realise that the security car has got separated from them, and them talking about it, phoning the security guys, etc. It must be very scary for the children. God only knows how they will grow up.

We should open a sweepstakes with bets on how many different schools the children will go to over the next ten years.

JoanChitty · 16/09/2026 11:49

I have seen on X a tweet from the handle Queer lips of truth II, that Harry had a couple of mental breakdowns whilst in the US. I also read that Meghan had concerns about his mental state and had contacted the palace which is why the king saw him earlier. I could believe he definitely has mental health issues by the way he’s reported to be acting.

Thedom · 16/09/2026 11:50

Back to the post about the MP pushing for security for H&M. This has been posted on Reddit.

It’s just ridiculous at this point, all the polls are showing only 6% of the public support the Sussex’s getting tax payer funded security and you have these MP’s representing the public, making big statements as a favour to their friends employer.

If you mean that Harry has genuine fears about his and his family's security, then no.

Look at all the evidence to the contrary.

Moving to Britain seemingly on a whim, without making adequate security arrangements.

His wife constantly posting photos of the children in private locations which are easily identifiable.

Him and his wife leaving their children for days or even weeks at a time. Sometimes to travel to another continent.

Them announcing their movements in advance.

Harry going around ringing doorbells in London.

And probably lots more that I can't think of right now. But there is plenty of evidence that neither of them is terribly concerned about security itself, rather about the status they believe official security provides.

if HAM thrive on drama, surely the class whatsapp is THE place

It's not a decision made by MPs, I don't know why they're involved.

The thing is, even if only 1% of the population approved of the Sussexes having security, that doesn't mean they shouldn't get it if RAVEC believe the situation demands it. Public opinion is irrelevant.

It's just disgraceful that something so sensitive and confidential as personal security arrangements have been made into a subject for public discussion. There's a reason these things are not usually discussed in public, and the relevant experts almost always refuse to comment when asked. Harry really is a fool. To add to my post above, there's no way someone genuinely concerned about this safety would behave in such a way.

What is the motivation of the person who allegedly 'leaked' the number?
Whatever school it is, we know it's an expensive fee paying school. So it's unlikely that the few grand or whatever The Sn threw their way would be worth it to them, especially given the social opprobrium if it becomes known that they sold someone's number to the press. That would be extremely poor form anywhere, but even more so in a school where many of the families will be wealthy and high profile. But this person doesn't wait a day before selling a number, without even any interesting posts or photos, to the press?*
It just doesn't make sense. It has to have been someone from Meghan's 'team' leaking it.

I agree. Yesterday it was said that Lilli had been for a taster session in Reception and M had joined the parents whatsapp chat. Why mention the whatsapp? i thought that was an irrelevant detail at the time and less than a day later her number is 'leaked.' What on earth is going on?

Absolutely 💯 - that's the point. It's all getting lost in their behaviour and public opinion.

It’s almost like their PR consists of vomitting out story after story and hoping that one will somehow resonate with something (no idea what). All the different timelines seem to merge in to one so that there is now complete confusion over what happened at which school and which WhatsApp group etc. It’s chaos theory at its finest 😆😆

A reflection of their mental and emotional state.

Absolutely, I know that, and so do the politicians, and yet here they are publicly throwing their voice behind the Sussex’s crazy antics. Of course they are trying to add public pressure to RAVEC, it’s what politicians do.

In this case it’s clear the reason is because of a personal relationship with the Sussex’s employees.

Yesterday I thought it was strange that news stories were reporting that M had already joined the class WhatsApp. It seemed a trivial detail. I also thought it strange as I don’t think schools have anything to do with these groups so you would really only get added once you had got to know some parents at the school gate, so it seemed a bit premature. Today we have this story. It feels a bit off to me. It’s almost like an excuse to move the dcs again. We’ll see.

I’m no royal or expert but I have to agree with you here !
an example, I wasn’t actually on the class WhatsApp for my son’s class because I had no idea it existed for years!!! , you can’t just add yourself…you need to know someone on there and be invited to join….you need to know someone’s number or give your number to someone to add ……so Meghan would have to have spoken to these “mums “ before to be on that chat!! …….im calling bullshit or a setup .

Right.
Thanks for that - I'm better educated now 😊
I just hope someone tells HAM that it's not possible otherwise I suspect there'll be more non-stories and, worse, the children will be shunted around even more than they have already in a bid to show how at risk they are.

I believe someone had tried to have a word! , remember that ridiculous statement they released about being “ internationally protected people “ , that was removed pretty sharpish ?
im sure someone here might have a screenshot?
possibly @Mylovelygreendress?

I just don't see Meghan joining a school WhatsApp group off the bat. Or at all. She would consider that as a Duchess she's far too grand, even though no doubt many of the others are richer and more aristocratic than her. It just doesn't ring true that she's signing up for a WhatsApp group on the very first day.

Plus, as I said, I just cannot see any reason why someone who can afford to send their kids to an exclusive school is going to risk their social reputation for a few grand, or whatever.

I think the whole thing is fabricated. But she knows the school aren't going to push back on it. Anyway, it's another fail because even if the 'leak' were genuine, it's not a security threat. So back to the drawing board. Near catastrophic car chase incoming. This time not in Manhattan, but in Duckpond on the Wold or wherever.

AlexandraCarrington · 16/09/2026 12:15

I sometimes think these blinds are made up by people who don't understand what a Constitutional Monarch can or can't do, they talk as if KC is some sort of 18thC Absolute Monarch!

A lot of people don't understand how the monarchy works.

We've never really had an absolutist monarchy in England. The one who came closest was Charles I, and that didn't end well.

BasiliskStare · 16/09/2026 12:16

I do think this latest story links back to the thread and those before's title . PR disasters. It may be that some parent has sent a screen shot to The Sun. Don't believe it for a second. I'm sceptical they would even have sent it to someone not a parent at the school both , as @IcedPurple said , for the reasons she said. BUT , even in the unlikely , in my view , event that happened , H&M have such a reputation for leaking things for their own advantage or to get their own way , a great many people wouldn't believe them anyway. They have a reputation to recover , and (I think) they don't seem to be going the right way about it. Chaosmongers.

Rentfreeinyourhead · 16/09/2026 12:16

I bet those new school Yr 3 moms are busily creating a new WhatsApp group where they put out false info so that when it leaks they can go “It was………Sussex’ account.” #MissMarkle

Also, shouldn’t the nanny be the one on WhatsApp anyway? Honestly, I’d hire a nanny just to manage my class group chat.
