Drama llamas should go home and get a job. By home I mean back where they and their children were settled, or if that has become impossible for some reason, to somewhere they own a home and can be settled (Portugal?). I think it is very clear that where they are at now is not intended to be settled. Poor kids.

So, I get the allusions to a potential divorce - would M be able to take the kids away with her?
I don't get the other thing though about maybe the RF want him here before some news breaks and he needs immunity. What's that all about?

What immunity is Harry entitled to? None.

Ratherhaveacupofteaandabiscuit · 16/09/2026 11:04

I picture H at home in his grifted mansion lying on the floor rolling about shrieking:
”I am royal, I am, I am, I am so there, and everybody loves me. It’s just William and my father spoiling everything As Ever”

M is next to him sobbing:
”Everybody loves me too, how could they not? It’s just that Britain is so racist and they spread lies because I am a mixed race woman”

Meanwhile two bewildered children wonder when they will be going back to school.

@Mencia, that story about Felipe’s PPO’s interest being sparked by his university lectures, and doing the degree alongside him, echoes the experience of Charles and his PPO at Cambridge.

Apparently Charles’s PPO was awarded a First in (I think) Archaeology & Anthropology.

(By contrast, Harry’s bodyguards are probably bored witless and/or quite proficient on CoD for X-Box.)

Yes, had read something like that. This story is not well known, i just know because of my cousin.

IPP status you say?

Here’s more tea from X:

”Theory number 765:
Harry didn’t come home. He got pulled.
Nobody uproots two kids, lands in the UK, then switches schools days into term because life in Montecito suddenly felt incomplete. That’s an exit. But maybe it was a lone exit.
The Palace already knows what’s coming. It’s not visa issues. Not money. It’s something far worse. The kind of trouble the UK government doesn’t leave sitting in California if they can get Harry onto British soil first.
The King likely knows the whole charade. Perhaps that’s why we were fed that Charles was ‘told’ at the last minute and why that letter of guidance landed so fast. It looked like a slap-down - private citizens, no HRH, don’t treat them like working royals. But was it really? Time will tell.
Non-working royals wouldn’t be on the royal website - and yet Harry and Meghan have been there all along.
The whole fiasco keeps the public looking at a family row while they quietly work the real problem: get Harry his IPP status back so a prosecution is much harder to touch.
Oddly, a few MPs are putting an awful lot of effort into supporting full security for a non-working royal. We should be looking at who and asking why.”

What's this?!

On this point, one of the MPs currently agitating on X for security is Mike Tapp (MP for Dover & Deal) who is also allegedly a personal friend of Liam MacGuire, the Sussexes’ head of PR. They apparently went to school together, and someone called Liam MacGuire donated to Mike Tapp’s crowd funder for his electoral campaign. Interesting!

I imagine a lot of favours are being called in to get H&M what they want. But that really is an interesting nugget, has anyone called him out on X yet?

By UN Convention, Heads of Government and Heads of State, in the main.

Shame he wasn't first born then.

Whoopiedooo · 16/09/2026 11:07

What's this?!

I don't know, but it's wrong - Harry never had IPP status and won't "get it back". Plus, he has no sort of immunity, he's not a diplomat.
No credibility to this gossip.

Annual flu vaccine?

Does he want it free on the NHS because his dad gets it? Why should H have to pay ten quid in Boots?

PleasantGreenPorcupine · 16/09/2026 11:15

I sometimes think these blinds are made up by people who don't understand what a Constitutional Monarch can or can't do, they talk as if KC is some sort of 18thC Absolute Monarch!

Nah, he doesn't qualify for that either.

I don't think he'd get it free on the NHS.
They have, I think, added rough sleepers to the list of those entitled to it but I'm not sure sofa-surfing at a billionaire's gaff would cut it.

He might demand one for being a carer. He’s a full time dad, dontcha know.

Absolutely. They don't know what IPP status is either.

Obviously I'm not the thread police but I really don't know how 'blinds' from American gossip sites contribute to a reasonable discussion.

BemusedAmerican · 16/09/2026 11:24

On a more positive note, Prince William just got great American press from his Dartmoor visit yesterday. Look at him with those llamas:

Indeed, it’s a big jump from a blind to any actual evidence that HaM are fighting a PR battle against credible allegations.

Tbh the only credible allegation I’ve seen lately is that H might have been fraudulent in his visa application re the drug use.

What else might there be? Financial mismanagement allegations involving his charities and his Sentebale problem follow him right to England, as would any misconduct from his army days. He’s not immune to prosecution in the UK, nor will he ever be. What might be on the cards though is that his return to the US is prohibited or ill-advised.

If Archewell is being investigated, and another court case is underway, then Harry could be finding himself in very hot water rather soon and the move to the U.K. could be due to that and not about the children’s erratic schooling.

GroundCloves · 16/09/2026 11:26

If there is a requirement for a PPO to sit in a lecture room then they are on duty - their attention should be on doors, windows and everyone in the room, not on the lecture.

That's a lot of 'ifs'. A legal investigation would have to be on the public record at some stage, not just some anonymous 'blind'. And America is full of dodgy 'charities'. I highly doubt the son of King Charles lll would ever be in serious trouble because of charity mismanagement.

Absolutely, if they're learning, they're not doing their job. Fortunately, the Charles story isn't true.

How would moving to the UK help?

Interesting though that no one has leaked Catherine's number in the years she has been at school events, meeting other parents at the pub and hosting coffee mornings. I wonder who actually leaked Meghan's number.

Exactly, @MrsLeonFarrell.

No leaks in all the time that the Wales children have been at school.

A leak as soon as someone known for leaks joins a WhatsApp group.

What is the motivation of the person who allegedly 'leaked' the number?

Whatever school it is, we know it's an expensive fee paying school. So it's unlikely that the few grand or whatever The S*n threw their way would be worth it to them, especially given the social opprobrium if it becomes known that they sold someone's number to the press. That would be extremely poor form anywhere, but even more so in a school where many of the families will be wealthy and high profile. But this person doesn't wait a day before selling a number, without even any interesting posts or photos, to the press?

It just doesn't make sense. It has to have been someone from Meghan's 'team' leaking it.
