GBNews are reporting that Harry and Megan are moving back to the UK at the end of August.

I won't believe it until I hear it on the BBC.

😂 😂 😂

Didn't he just spend years saying it was too dangerous for his family to live in UK??

But the taxpayer will foot their security 24/7 bill.

But the taxpayer will foot their security 24/7 bill.

I don't think they will - as working RF members do not get that.

But they will get some and that will be paid for by taxpayers not them.

However for security reasons they get offered somewhere to live maybe ?

I'm getting sucked in now 😉so I wonder if their place in Portugal is anywhere near Eugenie's and Jack's pile in Alentejo? All the kids could play together eh?

I asked what work he does.

The burden shifts to you to show what he does. Because I can't invent a profession out of thin air. You did, and provided unreliable media rags such as The Telegraph, which is infamous for its absolute rubbish, and leans heavily to the right, in perhaps the most toxic manner I have seen in what is barely journalism.

I did show what work he does.

You claimed that it was all lies basically.

So now YOU prove he only cuts ribbons 🤷

I'm sure this is part of it but they also need to make amends with William if he's about to become the big guy. If Charles has been subsidising them for things like security or housing costs then they have a problem if he's no longer here. Pure speculation because I don't know if that has been the case.

I suspect Charles has funded them from his private fortune. William might not be so generous. Charles is 79 (b.1947) and the Queen has been talking about his cancer diagnosis publicly for the first time. Ominous and if so H&M might want to build bridges with William - not sure he wants the same, but I don't know them.

MM isn’t getting enough attention. What attention she gets in the US is negative. She needs to put the spotlight back on her.

Lol, she's in the papers pretty much every day and this thread has 28 pages. I don't think lacks attention

There were a lot of factural easily checkable errors in his Spare book and the Opera Interview - the Archbidhop had to come out and correct the marriage one.

Most of us know this, AprilMizzel, but it doesn't stop the silly questions - probably because there was never anything credible to say about the mess H&M have made, and now even "they've got it made in the US" has blown up

And my own favourite lie was "we didn't cooperate withh Scobie on Finding Freedom", only for Harry's "we have to be able to say that we had nothing to do with it" email to be revealed at the Court of Appeal

Small wonder that some of the fans have never forgiven Jason Knauf Grin

Of course. And it is less prescripted in Wales

This sounds much like what I was taught in an English school. It was a broad mix and certainly much of it was not particularly complimentary towards the UK monarchy or government. I suggest you read a bit more about the curriculum in our education system. As I said, the UK has over a thousand years of history and it’s simply not possible to cover everything in detail.

Being cynical [but usually correct] I believe they have burned through a lot of their money. Not all, but enough to make them realise they won't be able to run with the seriously wealthy Americans. Assuming the seriously wealthy/famous Americans actually wanted them, which they have very clearly demonstrated they don't!

California Dreaming has turned into a bit of a nightmare for them. They're running out of funds, they're not on the Christmas card list of any A Listers, no one cares about what they have to say and the CEO of Netflix has openly derided them as a pair of grifters. The President of the United States has openly called Megan 'a nightmare.' Not great is it?

Though they have gotten exactly what they wished for, you know, total privacy [irrelevancy] and total freedom [no one cares what they do or where they go], fully escaping the hateful racism in the UK and the evil British press. So you'd think they'd be so pleased with that and continue just living quietly in the US?

Actually you are factually incorrect, and those scandals, horrendous as they were, were rife in England.

Feel free to get back in your box if contributing invoked that feeling in you.

You do you.

Noone is saying they didn't happen elsewhere

But they happened in Ireland too... And that's with elected officials. You kept on saying "wah wah wah unelected blah blah blah" as some sort of gotcha or indicator of an elected official being better.

We just pointed out that elected officials and the Church in Ireland over saw the atrocities of forced separation, forced labour and murder if babies. Which you seem to deny they had any responsibility in that a d trying to blame it entirely on the English?
