GBNews are reporting that Harry and Megan are moving back to the UK at the end of August.

I won't believe it until I hear it on the BBC.

OP posts:

Get a grip.
He does a LOT more than 40 hrs a week - the Red Boxes alone take between 2-4 hrs per day, every day of the week excluding Easter Sunday and Christmas Day.
You hate it here, you hate all of us, you hate the RF yet here you are on the RF boards slagging off everyone and everything British . You sound like Meghan.
If you want to know what the Monarch does look it up yourself.

And, FYI, nobody has to curtsey/bow to the Monarch & working royals. Nobody.
It’s choice whether or not the individual chooses to do so.

Touched a nerve?

Always amusing when you pose a question asking what labour or work the RF actually do.

It is either met with a blank stare, or anger that the very foundation of their illusion of their beloved RF has been rattled to its core.

So I take it that is my answer then? Charles packs boxes for 40 hours a week!

Benjithedog · Today 09:59

Not really you are still commenting on the thread. If you don’t care that much you wouldn’t have stopped here, read through the comments and then commented.

NeelyOHara · Today 09:59

panomara · Today 09:57

Ha, I'm commenting about the commentators not the RF or any member of it, I don't care about any of them. There's a huge difference.

if you didn’t care, why on earth did you click on the thread on the first place? Is it your first time on the internet?

DaisyDooley · Today 09:59

Meaning you obviously practically were raised here if you went to school here

True, and nobody has claimed perfection

I am astounded by an obsession here with a Royal family. Bowing and geneflecting to a family, who historically were participants in murders, theft and genocide of countries that didn't belong to them.

The most strange behaviour to witness.

And yet here you are on the RF board.
I’ll concede your nasty posts are getting a lot of attention on here - it’s almost like you are desperate for it.
Desperate for attention, hates the UK and the people -do you model yourself on Meghan? Here because you are a bit skint too?

Sereine · Today 09:59

I was team Meghan when they got together. I thought she was bright enough to be a breath of fresh air in the RF, and I enjoyed the way she was winding up the racist right wing press.

However, their behaviour since leaving has sadly turned that around. All the blatant attempts to monetise Harry's sainted mother, and in particular the proven lies in the "Poor us" Netflix programmes and Harry's book really were not impressive, let alone his constant whinging about wanting us all to spend a fortune on unnecessary security for them. They could turn it around again by keeping their heads down and actually doing some worthwhile work, but I'm not holding my breath.

I don’t think you’ve touched anything. Anyway back to you being fun at a party

Dumbledora8 · Today 10:00

And all the nasty little trolls will be out in full force. Our society is fucked. So much nastiness which is fuelled by the media! Adults are worse then children for bullying!

Diamond7272 · Today 10:00

Let's be honest, it's good news for Andrew mountbatten Windsor..., the delight formerly known as Prince.

Directs attention away from him plus Megan is nearly as unpopular as him... Give her a few months and he will probably be more popular than her after giving a woman he never met 10 million for something that never happened 🙄

Hi Neely. Report me for insubordination. Why do you care about my posting here? Go away love.

Skint? Nah.

I get paid very well from my (Irish) job.

Why do they have to labour to work?
Millions s of people work where they have meetings, host clients, deliver speeches, open events, support charitable events on behalf of their organisation etc

Just because it's not a 28hr shift down t' mine, 8 days a week.... doesn't mean it isn't work 🤷

None of us know them.

Good for them. I hope they take it by storm and show will and Kate what it means to be a popular figure.

I didn't think they were very popular though? Isn't that why their 'production company' is a laughing stock and the guy from Netflix called them grifters or something? And the mass produced jam that nobody wants?

I guess H still has fans in the UK. Maybe they'll seem more popular here?

Sereine · Today 10:03

I am unfortunate to be stuck in England with my Irish job for another 8 months.
Never have I come across such a hateful country,

I think you protest too much,@AoifeRua. No job is worth enduring living in a country you hate as much as you claim to do; if you genuinely thought it was all as dreadful as you say you would have got another job by now.

Ah, feel free to unstupid me then

What does Charles do for 40 hours per week to earn his money?

If that's me you are tagging, well no, I'll stay and read all the mad comments.

And sorry for being pedantic, but your post says -

"If you don’t care that much you wouldn’t have stopped here".....,

So I didn't stop there, as you ordered ma'am 😊

What labour/work does he do?

Could you elaborate on how he earns his money on a 40 hour week basis that the rest of the British are expected to do?

Can you elaborate on how many of the British are expected to work a 40 hour week at the age of 77 and with cancer?

Diamond7272 · Today 10:08

Oh god, is that yucky jam going to be flogged here? Is Megan going on dragons den to pitch it to touker???

Desperate days, clearly.

As someone said. For years they grumbled about their safety, how they weren't being protected enough, now suddenly it's all fine...

Hopefully no more books about Harry killing taliban in his 20s from his helicopter gunship. That does tend to upset people who live in caves in tora bora... Not Harry's smartest move. But he wanted us to pay for his protection after making money from that book.. Huh???

TaraRhu · Today 10:08

AnAlpacaForChristmasPleaseSanta · Today 09:51

The only reason they do this is to spend some time with Charles . But I am glad they have reconciled.

That was said with full certainty, not even pondered as a question.
So tell me, was it H or M that told you and are they happy for you to share it on here?

Er, it's a Mumsnet gossip thread. Get a grip! It's all speculation!

MoreLikeTwilight · Today 10:09

I wonder if this is a bit of a passive aggressive exercise having lost the cases against the papers, and the Home Office. This will almost certainly force a security review.

I cannot imagine what the RF and associated institutional apparatus must be thinking/ saying…

I’m not sure why you’re so invested in this given that you’re not presumably a citizen of the UK. It does seem that the monarchy is living rent free in your head!

Sereine · Today 10:07

Good point. Flawed example and a faux pas on my part.

So, could you tell me what William, or any working age RF member (including Charles before retirement) did or does do to earn their money for 40 hours a week?
