The outpouring of criticism about them both has been enthralling & entertaining, but I really think it's time to just leave them alone. Let them get on with their lives and sink into relative obscurity, like Edward and Wallis Simpson. What do you think?

When they sink into obscurity and stop drawing attention to themselves then that will be the time to stop reporting on them. But as they are still on their 'we want privacy' world tour then that isn't going to happen.

Interested to hear your take on the revelations by Charlotte Griffiths. Harry and Meghan leaked the location of the “peace talks” then complained about the leak.

Worse! , they implied that the leak had come from the palace!

I don't imagine you are wrong but a good portion of that is going to have to go toward paying the Daily Mail legal fees now. And I'm sure I read that he offered to pay Baroness Lawrence's fees too. Obviously not a promise he ever expected to have to make good on, so convinced was he that they'd win. Oops!

There isn't a British press really because they all have different editorials and agendas. I think tabloids like the DM love them because of the clickbait. In a way I think it's good to have a press which questions royals and others with a lot of wealth and power. They're too used to expecting deference and that includes H&M.

Agreed and I don’t either but you can’t escape it if they are on the news, or when you out on Netflix and their programmes come up etc.

The article CG wrote afterward is worth reading if you want to have an informed opinion about Harry’s relationship with the press and particularly the Daily Mail and Caroline Griffiths. It humanised the people
whose reputation he intended to tarnish and makes a liar of him.

He was in active contact with the DM as recently as summer 2025 and feeding them stories.

He also lied about his past relationship with CG. It would be hard to forgive him but I don’t think she harbors ill will.

I'm not a royalist, so there's that for starters (don't ask for a list of reasons, you'll be here all day). As far as Kate and William are concerned, I find them spectacularly uninspiring and bland especially given their relative youth. I'm far from alone in that assertion.

I do think they could lead a quiet life. It would be quite the chatfest media-wise for a while if they chose that but it would eventually die down.

I think if they remained quietly doing stuff behind the scenes, the daft stories would stop. Like ‘She wore Di’s earrings’ and other nonsense.

I don’t think that will be the case though.

They could lead a quiet life and raise their family in relative obscurity. They choose not to. Meghan needs attention like the rest of us need oxygen, and Harry wants to be worshipped because he's Harry. They will still be playing the victims and grabbing at straws forever more.

Not sure if you saw my post above regarding Charlotte Griffiths’ article about her past friendship with Harry and his very recently leaking info to the press while disingenuously blaming BP for doing so.

It shouldn’t have shocked me but it did and I feel quite sorry for her and her colleagues after reading it. His accusations are a farce.

They're public figures. I mean, they could have completely become private citizens after leaving the monarchy and embraced a quiet life. But they didnt. They want to be celebrities, they want to be rich, they want to be famous. As such public figures, they will undoubtedly be open to scrutiny.

If it's all too much, they could quit celebrity life and get normal jobs. Tbh they probably wouldn't need to get normal jobs, they have so much money they could buy a little house in the middle of nowhere and live off their savings.

But they don't. They actively choose not to. So I don't feel any sympathy for them one bit.

The incident with the white pill is in my opinion very troubling I think minimising the seriousness of this is dangerous. Perhaps the reconciliation with his family is not just about money and royal adjacency. After all it took decades for the extent of Andrew’s behaviour to be revealed and I’m sure we still don’t know the full extent of his dealings while representing the country as trade envoy.

Maybe they need to stop courting press and public attention then as it’s seems they are getting ever desperate.

Absolutely. Papers that question deference and challenge the RF is highly desirable. Questioning and challenging ALL of them!

"Mercy for Meghan and Harry"??? Don't you think that this soap opera garbage is exactly what they are suffering from? Whatever stance you take in the completely weird world of 'royal family chat' you are consuming them -- bread and circuses, with their lives as the bread and the popcorn.

If everyone simply ignored them they might be able to scrabble towards some basic grip on normality.
