A shiny new thread to continue the chat on the Sussexes summer shenanigans!

And they are so often spot on . They have also been alleging that H is having an affair .

Maureen C and Rob Shuter also discussed H having an affair. No clap back from HAM. I don't buy it, simply because H is so odious

Anyway here’s one for the fashion police.
A masterclass in how to look cool in jeans and a T-shirt and how to get it wrong. Why does she tuck it in? Her friend is longer and leaner and highlights Meghan’s more boxy shape.

Behold! A real live friend wishing her happy birthday and telling her she's loved. Her team really make sure to clap back, don't they?
On another note for those wishing to create content that speaks of your sheer Joie de Vivre, when having your photo taken, make sure you're always doubled over laughing and unable to look into the camera!

Mylovelygreendress · Yesterday 09:21

Is that photo this year ? It looks familiar .

Butteredtoast55 · Yesterday 08:38

Whilst I do sometimes wonder why these things draw me in, the birthday photos and videos do rather invite comment and scrutiny. They're just so 'off'. If she'd just posted a normal photo of herself on holiday saying thank you for all the happy birthday wishes, who would need to question it?
Instead there's a ton of weirdness reflecting what comes across as a vacuous, child-free, staged, influencer life and we are supposed to find this idyllic.
Even after what appears to have been a lovely summer in Europe, the leaks and whining start. The images are trying to say 'Look how relaxed and fun our life is' but the undercurrent and actual narrative is so tense and angry.

Exactly, which is why I find them so fascinating.

But he is - apparently- a wealthy Prince .

Well quite. Look at how marrying him has 'elevated' Meghan's lifestyle and opportunities.

Lady C has also said the same. I don’t believe it personally but it’s definitely a rumour doing the rounds, and probably more widely than we see in the media.

I always get the impression she is creating the kind of public life she fantasised about as a struggling actress trying to make it in her 20’s, what she is presenting now are all the things she daydreamed she would do when she ‘made it big’ , except that was 2 decades ago and looks pathetic and try hard now, particularly as she is only famous for being married to Harry.

The pool photos are probably not from the same sequence, looks like she did several takes and chose two of them from different shoots.

She cannot dance, she looks ridiculous, remember the one of her in the doorway of Harry’s’ cottage,🫣. She clearly thinks she can, however it is clearly something else she has never managed to master despite all the years of dance classes.

Butteredtoast55 · Yesterday 09:59

@Thedom that's a really interesting point. In many ways, at least on the surface, she 'has it all' but it never seems to be enough. She conveys very mixed messages about her childhood but the things she does as a middle aged woman show that she's still craving the things that will show she's successful, special and so, so happy. It isn't enough to be those things, she has to be seen to be those things. It's quite sad really.
But then I see things like the supposed leaks about how furious she was at the way she was treated whilst in the UK and think she's also a monstrous narcissist. No wonder the whole circus is horribly fascinating.

CariadDarling · Yesterday 10:00

Regarding the Lichen spotted in one of the pics. I did a quick google out of curiosity (I live with vulval Lichens) and there’s quite a variety of it also growing in Montecito.

I wouldn’t even dignify that with an answer either.

TheNinkyNonkyIsATardis · Yesterday 10:11

Meghan's calf on the leg pointing back is horribly shortened as a muscle. It's unusual to see in an alleged yoga fanatic, and it's shown up in previous pics.

My PT did a lot of stretch and muscle condition training with me, and it smoothed and lengthened out my calves, so that they didn't tighten into that short lump whenever I exercised. It made everything much more comfortable, and like I say, surprising in an exercise fanatic.

I’ve been busy! , but call it booze or appreciation! , love you puzzled, a real republican who doesn’t spend time attacking me constantly ❤️

No possible reason to attack you, jeff - not that I would anyway.
You're always rational (well, apart from the cheese maybe Grin) and fair, and one of the things I love about these boards is that we can all sometimes disagree without getting downright nasty Flowers

Well, unless errant members of the Squad appear, and happily they're easily ignored

Puzzledandpissedoff · Yesterday 10:30

Yes, tense and angry sums it up rather well, @Butteredtoast55 - and that's despite the occasional very odd images of manufactured glee

The "doubling up, unable to even look at the camera" is a case in point; the sort of thing everone may be captured doing occasionally, but when appearing in image after image is very obviously fake

Just like everything else ...

Scorchio84 · Yesterday 10:53

Scrambledbeans · Yesterday 06:55

I think it’s odd that she only has one swimsuit. I jest obviously, but it’s a weird detail. Maybe this was from their alleged holiday in Portugal, taken weeks ago in preparation for ‘spontaneous lols’

Live. Laugh. Love.

Live Laugh Lie more like...

Starryfifty · Yesterday 11:31

Why is it always how she is loved? Everyone loves her? It's all very odd.

I suppose, six years later, it's still trying to poke the RF and the British in general with an 'Everyone else can see how great Meghan is' stick!
I think she's got some real issues with deep-seated insecurity blended with self-aggrandisement along with a side order of having to have the last word. She's constantly trying to prove something that nobody has asked to see evidence for.
I had a snoop at the Daily Mail story about her 'new kitchen' and it has a poll asking the question whether she was oversharing or legitimately creating content. The overwhelming % of the vote was 'I don't really care'. Given this was asking people who were interested enough to click on the story, it highlights the problem for the Sussexes. They're just not that interesting to a lot of people (says the woman on the 27th thread about their PR disasters 😁)

Morelovelyandtemperate · Yesterday 13:18

I'm still amazed people think she actually jumped in a pool. That's just her leaping, could be the Sahara desert. Then it's someone's hand. There is zero evidence she got wet.

SheinSussex · Yesterday 13:24

That poor staff member who had to get into the pool and act as a stunt double.

Is it actually new ? To me it looks like it has had a lick of paint .

There must be serious deep rooted issues there. I love celebrating birthdays, more special as I get older as I have lost a few people too young but I always keep it low key. She seems very emotionally immature
