Well, I read the Times article linked on the previous thread about "jaws being on the floor" after Harry slandering the British justice system, but unfortunately apart the headline and a very brief mention of it, the article is remarkably positive about Harry.

I really hope the PPs who think KC played a blinder and HaM got nothing they wanted are right, but..... the positive articles have already started. And there are mentions of another family visit in September. I think Theo Rycroft has won the war of the MIGS and the country is going to be subjected to endless articles and drama about Harry and Meghan. So that's going to be fun.

Yes I wasn’t impressed with that Times article at all and I’m very much in agreement with @Indianrollerbird take on that which she expressed in the previous thread.

I think Theo Rycroft has won the war of the MIGS and the country is going to be subjected to endless articles and drama about Harry and Meghan. So that's going to be fun.

I think he has won the battle but ultimately William will win the war, the problem is how much headway Harry makes before William throws him in the Tower?

Evening all.
Camilla doesn’t like the ‘formaility’ which follows the King to most of his homes.
This is quite understandable- she wasn’t born into it.
During the working week they are together at (mainly) Clarence House.
On weekends off the King will go to Highgrove and the Queen goes to Ray mill. It’s always been like this as Ray Mill is where she sees her children & grandchildren. It’s much more relaxed for the grandchildren especially when they were little.
Remember, Camilla was known amongst her friends as ‘the laziest woman in England’ where you would go to her house for a coffee, sit down on a dog hairy sofa and find a dog treat and a pair of tights shoved behind the cushion.
The Kimg apparently likes everything in its place - probably because he’s never had to dust, hoover and tidy up. Camilla kicks off her shoes and doesn’t give a hoot.
They spend all their time in Scotland together at Birkhall and moving into Balmoral for the summer months when family come.
They also spend all of Christmas together too. Remember from 2005 to 2021 Camilla never spent a Christmas with her kids. She had to be at Sandringham and they were not invited, She used to scoot off before breakfast on Boxing Day to go to Ray Mill to see her family. Since the Queen died her children and grandchildren have come to Sandringham.
This is one big reason why I don’t think we have to worry about the Sussexes coming to Sandringham for Christmas. I don’t think Tom Parker Bowles would be very pleased to see Harry after what he said about his mum in Spare. There’s no way Camilla would choose spending Christmas with Harry over Tom and I don’t think the King would want to be without her.
Can you imagine Meghan trying to front it out when literally nobody likes her?
Ithink William and Catherine would either not be there or refuse to do the walk to/from church.
Also this sounds mad - but I don’t think there’s enough room for HAM & Kids. They stayed with William and Catherine at Amner because of lack of bedroom space. Ok, there’s two been freed up by the deaths of QEII and Prince Philip but Tom and his two children plus Laura + husband and their three children will take up quite a few rooms.
So my theory is - no invite for Christmas.

William will eventually win the war in a sense, because the Sussexes have treated Catherine so terribly that no decent husband could ever forgive them. But the Sussexes can cause an enormous amount of harm in the intervening years.

Unfortunately KC's behaviour (and I'm certain this is simply the beginning of the rapprochement, this is going to get much worse over the coming years) will make it far more difficult for him. I think there's going to be endless MSM articles about how lovely the blossoming relationship between Charles and his grandchildren is, how it's so so sad that they can't have a similar relationship with their cousins, how it's so sad the Waleses are unable to move on from their differences with HaM to embrace the Sussex children (and the Sussex supporters will no doubt blame Catherine for everything)

Interesting Neil Sean theory de jour about Harry's fawning over Alison Hammond this week - allegedly /big pinch of salt....

Just like the Lion King premiere - Harry is on a mission (allegedly) and been instructed to butter up Alison Hammond and pitch for work for Meghan. Megsie wants to do UK food programmes - like she did Aussie Masterchef - and her current goal is to do junior Bake Off .... Hence Harry being all smarmy and fawning in the interview and telling Alison that it's absolutely the flack packs favourite TV show EVA (at 7 and 5 🙄)
