There is some really positive stuff on social media about Harry at the moment, including this clip that is quite sweet and where he seems natural and happy. The same with the Alison Hammond clip, it’s not popular on MN but it has overwhelming positive comments on FB, with a lot of UK posters commenting on how relaxed he seems when he is allowed to interact without his wife beside him.

He definitely enjoyed all that larking about at the event, and the grappling with Alison Hammond. It's all about the physical and the japes. Perhaps it was an outlet after ANL had gone so badly wrong. I wish he could find a job. Something which would be a positive outlet.

The sad thing is that Harry is really good at being the cheeky chappie larking around with athletes at Invictus or with children. It is such a shame he chooses to focus on his grievances most of the time. He really doesn't thrive outside the institution and this sort of visit gives a glimpse of how his life could have gone if he hadn't done all that he has done since he left. At this point there is no way back into the fold of good royal advice and a structured life that suits him and protects him from himself.

Maybe in 10 or 20 years time but that would depend on him being able to realise and accept that he is in the wrong and to apologise to those in his family he has hurt.

Good points. He obviously loves being royal, they both do. Harry does clearly enjoy all the cheeky chappy stuff, but otherwise he has little structure and his lifestyle and income became all about the grievances, and monetising then. It's really not healthy. If he could find some sort of occupation, it may help him to move forward, especially after the disaster of ANL

Well the mail is claiming inside the reunion but it's all nothing, the only information is that there was some Chanel embroidery award happening before, and a bit of minor leakage by McGuire (sp?) that highgrove was happening that afternoon.

I think it's been his persona, so he's reverted to it in a time of stress and uncertainty.

100% agree. She has done this before - gone to ground. Remember her posting the ‘Still I Rise’ poem about her last comeback.

She has been thoroughly thwarted - no blue light motorcade with armed guards and outriders screeching around London and swishing into palace / castle gates for her NF royal adjacency - no BP, Windsor Castle, Sandringham backdrops for footage of her Prince and Princess children frolicking in the gardens etc, no photos with KC3 etc, no opportunities for her to flog the clothes on her back in the face of sick children, injured / disabled military hero’s, no opportunity for her to word salad her grandiose and delusional drivel on some other charities platform to line her own pockets and sell tat online.

SHE chose not to accompany PH during this hideous week for him - but she rocked up for the royal adjacency crumbs.

She will regroup, reinvent and lay low for a bit IMHO. I think the clock is ticking on her divorce media/book/interview/NF revenue generating campaign. The ANL costs will accelerate her exit.

Does anyone know about the 10 year rule in Cali - is it when divorce proceedings are initiated or completed in the time frame? Also she may be liable for PH debts if ANL is a disaster.

So thwarted on everything this week - and then the dread of the ANL finances in a couple of weeks, then the revenge drip feed from The Mail (post court financial review) of excoriating stories, then the Sentebale roasting to look forward to - as well IMHO an IG collapse. She doesn’t have much to look forward to here - she would do well to extract herself soon from the coming shit show.

I was going to say exactly the same thing. It makes me cringe. His manner is so over the top and performative. It's as if he should be in primary coloured dungarees on cbeebies. Being open and friendly is one thing. But he's lost all dignity.

The cheeky crappy is all very well in a younger man but it has a tendency to be somewhat irritating in a middle aged man who has little direction or purpose in life.

I find the time scales and the distances Harry and family have been travelling dizzying. Harry (+ Meghan and children presumably) Birmingham to Highgrove and then Highgrove to Althorp. A lot of travelling for the children.

Also I would expect that either Charles or Camilla or both would have put in an appearance at the special embroidery award event, bit of a shame if they were unable to due to H&M turning up.

I must say I'm amazed Charles Spencer seems to be hosting them for several days. I hope this doesn't mean he will be collaborating with their proposed Netflix Diana special.

Well the common comment seems to be I wish Meghan would go off and live a quiet life and not be heard from, why does she need to be so public. It's been a few days and she is doing exactly that, so those people who say that should be happy she is being quiet. Although looking at some of the comments posted above if she is quiet it's still not good enough it means she is plotting and scheming or preparing for a divorce. People have wonderful imaginations on here 😆

They do. Perhaps they also have opinions. You have, as does everyone who is logged in and commenting.
Looking at it logically, Meghan is someone who enjoys publicity and having status, royal status. That's very apparent from how she has lived/is living her life. There's nothing wrong with that, lots of people seek the limelight, put themselves out there, share their lives on social media, share film of themselves in the kitchen and picking flowers. However, it's possible to question why there is a lull? We have no idea.
Perhaps she's just having a break from the fame game. Perhaps she's enjoying being A list royal adjacent again?
