Meghan is intensely jealous of Catherine so there is no way she will return and have to walk behind Camilla AND Catherine .
I do think this uncharacteristic silence from Meghan must be very difficult for her and the only reason I can think why she agreed to visit the U.K. is because funds are low .
Knowing how much she loves status and being photographed, it must be galling for her that there has not been I photograph of her .

HAM have not even issued anything resembling an apology to William and C, in fact more of "I have no regrets " spin. This week must be very upsetting for them

Because she couldn't cope with the fact that she was lower down in the hierarchy than she wanted and the royal duties were way too much like hard work for her, she wants to be Queen bee or nothing!

I have been following this thread and have found it really interesting.
I fully expected that Megs would appear at some point this weekend and have been surprised and curious as to why she’s in hiding .
Given that she must polish her solid brass neck every evening I never expected her to stay away and leave Harry in the limelight .

Maybe she never came and it's all an elaborate ruse.

Charles may be happy with some kind of personal reconciliation, but there's no way this was anything more than either of the previous 2 visits Harry has had with him, just this time Meghan and the kids came.

William has been reliably quoted as saying he has no issues with his Dad meeting with HaM again but that he wants nothing to do with it.

And I can't see Charles funding them particularly either. He already complained he "wasn't a bank" in regards to them. I'm sure he'll set up some kind of trust fund for the children, and might bung HaM a bit now and again, but he won't fund Invictus.

It's nice that he met the children and saw HaM, but as BP previously said (paraphrasing) "let's not confuse tea & cake for less than an hour with the Treaty of Versailles". Apparently he saw Harry alone first (with Camilla) and then saw Meghan and the children. Hardly a warm welcome.

Agree with this. I think there is a difference between what H thinks it means and what KC thinks it means.

Although the only thing that plays on my mind is how TLHMTQ bailed out Andrew. This has completely tarnished her whole reign, but does it set a precedent?

Definitely trying to one up William after he appeared on the Kelce's. They even tried to mimic the "look at all your names & titles!" But it was all a bit flat and forced IMO.

I genuinely do not think the King is hugely funding Harry -nor do I think he will be filling the ‘Invictus gap’ in funding.
I would say there is little to no chance of the King ‘levelling up’ things for Harry. It would mean the dismantling of the Duchy of Lancaster which has been the main source of funding for the monarch since Henry lV brought it with him to the throne in 1399. No second son has ever been ‘levelled up’which is why the Lancaster inheritance is still intact. There would also be a huge potential IHT issue -40% of £500 million is £200 million. There’s no way.
Many second/third/fourth children have been the favourite of the monarch but not one ever contemplated splitting the Lancaster Estate. It’s an absolute non starter.
As for funding Harry - maybe a bit but we know the King was already peed off withnthe telephone calls wanting cash before the late Queen died. I don’t suppose his stance on that has changed much.
Also we have to think of the influence from The Queen and William.
No way will they be sitting back while HAM try to rinse the King.
Over the last 10 years or so my liking/admiration for Camilla has been steadily rising. It’s now going up pretty fast.
I don’t think she is scared of speaking her mind and unlike the Kimg she lived a more normal life than he has ever done which has given her common sense. Camilla was the line in the sand Harry was warned not to cross. He ignored that and I don’t think Charles or Camilla will be in any great rush to forgive that fatal error.

The monarchy has survived because it keeps it's wealth.

I think from the RF point of view, what happens next with Dr Sophie may be pivotal. Right now, to much of the wider public, Harry is the nice but dim bloke doing his wife’s bidding, who lost a court case with a newspaper last week. Not a relevant individual and not really of interest to most.

But if the sentebale and African Parks charity fiascos hit the public consciousness, the parallels with AMW and SF’s grasping greed will start to cut through. And perhaps Harry’s wierd groping too.

Charles might provide funds for them to live a quiet life, but I don’t see the firm risking the embarrassment of further integration and the damage that would do to the royal brand.

Yes I can’t see KC subbing their current lifestyle. If they are broke I can see him
offering them somewhere on the royal estate to live and support them privately, as long as they STFU.

Charles isn't going to give Harry a substantial amount of money to live an extravagant life in a white elephant or to ball out a failing charity. That isn't really how the family has ever operated.

Likewise I suspect the late Queen's mistakes with the handling of AMW will feed into how they manage Harry and his never ending quasi political. comments. Private tea is probably his lot.

Neither William or Catherine come across as people who spend much, if any time, thinking about what the Sussexes are up to.
