I read this, this morning

Lutnick lied under oath. He was neck deep in Epstein's plans. And this article shows SarahF (what a surprise) schmoozing with Nutlick. He was a guest at Eugenie's wedding, course he was.
The plan was to 'buy a prince' and exploit Andrew's contacts with wealthy individuals and sovereign institutions. AMW was being used like the useful idiot he is.

I caught a brief clip of Andrew Lownie talking on a YouTube channel a couple of days ago and he was puzzled (and quite cynical) about why the police would want to talk to Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s family members ‘who won’t know anything’, before coming to him for his notes, research materials, etc of which he has a copious amount.

I do see his point. However, there is the slight chance I suppose that the police will be asking the family members about how Virginia was trafficked away from them in the first place, iyswim. What were the exact circumstances? What weak points in her life and family were exploited, and by whom, in what sequence - what was the chain of events? Can they provide signed statements to that effect, etc.

I doubt such curiosity will go down well with the Trump administration though, given Mar a Lago is a well known data point in the story. But if the police are looking into Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s potential links to trafficking, then it is going to upset a few apple carts in places like the US, Thailand and the UK. And that’s ok.

I know it’s hard to believe but a poster on mn was actually blaming Sky Roberts for not rescuing his sister.

Reminds me of the 'what about her parents' posts a while back... it comes from posters who have no idea about coercion and trafficking.

That was such a sad article. She was failed and abused at every turn. AMW and the rest seem to be getting away with it. The more I hear about him the more disgusted I am. It really is appalling how no-one apart from GM has been convicted.

Money and power certainly seem to be protecting many people and I hope that Sky can carry on to see some justice for his sister. The sheer number of people who were happy to keep contact with a convicted sex offender is sickening.

reading that article really explains the horrors she went through and how young she was and her brother was a child.

I hope every single person who covered up Epstein’s crimes or helped him in any way shape or form is held to account. That poor woman.

I saw a clip of Andrew Lownie on sm yesterday saying that he doubts AMW will be charged and he thinks he will be shipped off to the Middle East like the old King of Spain (who has now ended up in Portugal).

Lownie says AMW knows too much, isn’t remotely remorseful and isn’t cooperating, and that KC won’t finally cut him off which is an ongoing point of contention between him and William.

I think AL is right. He won't be charged and no way is AMW remorseful, it isn't in him, he has such a huge sense of entitlement that he can't imagine he has ever done anything wrong.

He has the equivalent of a Palace with servants just waiting for him in one of the ME countries he did dodgy deals with schmoozed.

Of course he isn't co-operating! It took years to oust him from Royal Lodge and more fool Charles paying him off, but it's the MO of the royals.. pay off anyone who is 'troublesome'. Like Virginia Guiffre

Exactly! Yes, I forgot the bit that Lownie said about KC being involved in the pay off to VG (despite a rather sketchy palace denial) as being another reason why it’s all too close to the Crown and in his opinion, despite their statements about BP full cooperation, the case won’t be pursued.

Which makes me wonder, having read about the situation of some of the PPOs getting too close to their employers, and breaking out in Windsor knots, and the reputation of the Met in general, and the two previous Met police enquiries involving the RF and Michael Fawcett coming to naught with no criminal charges ie:

** the ‘Cash-for-Honours" Probe (2021–2023 when Fawcett, who was then chief executive of The Prince's Foundation, was accused of offering to help a wealthy Saudi billionaire donor obtain a knighthood and British citizenship in exchange for donations to the charity. The Met launched a criminal investigation in February 2022 under the Honours (Prevention of Abuses) Act 1925. The police informed the Crown Prosecution service that there was insufficient evidence to bring a case.

** The Royal Gifts Misconduct Inquiry (2003) when Fawcett faced police and internal scrutiny over the alleged sale of unwanted royal gifts and pocketing a percentage of the proceeds (which earned him the moniker "Fawcett the Fence"). Detectives from Scotland Yard investigated the claims to determine if any financial misconduct or theft had occurred. Fawcett briefly resigned but no further action was taken.

Then there was the of course the RF last minute intervention in the Paul Burrell trial at the Old Bailey (Oct & Nov 2002)! All highly suspicious imho and the opinions of many others!

All of which makes me highly doubtful when people trust in the police and the judicial process as it applies to the Royal Family as if no influence or special exceptions are involved!

Maybe, just maybe, there is an inkling of hope in this instance with this case involving. AMW as it is the Thames Valley Police heading the enquiry and they have apparently devoted some very experienced senior officers and a good dollop of resources to the investigation? But I can’t help thinking that the length of time this is all taking can only benefit the RF by quelling the publicity around the case.

Good points. Totally agree. If it were the Met, it would be a no hoper.

I do think the Palace and successive governments work very hard keeping us in the dark about what goes on and doing everything to avoid public scrutiny
