Also interested in anyone's thoughts on the visible support from Edward who was reportedly in a bate about not being able to holiday in Wood Farm until suddenly he wasn't and who still hasn't defined who he means when alluding to Epstein's victims.

if his family want to still see him, they can do that in private.

We know Anne and Edward support him. I honestly think they all possibly think this is no biggie as far as AMW but something that had to be done because of the worldwide publicity about the Epstein files.

I think they brushed off the VG stuff with a whip round to hush it all up.

To me, it's the Trade Envoy stuff that blew it for him. He was forwarding government invest documents, official visit reports and confidential govt reports to JE and others. That cannot be ignored

I feel sorry for Camilla and Sophie. They do a lot of work with charities who support women and girls who are the victims of violence. And yet they have an man in the heart of their own family whose abuse of women will never be prosecuted and it's only because of his Trade Envoy dealings that he may ever face a court.

Whilst I am not a fan of any of them, both Camilla and Sophie do support good causes, but it is rather contradictory isn't it, given AMW's actions. Eugenie had to walk away from her anti slavery trafficking charity, quite rightly.

I would feel sorry for them if they had actully spoken out even in an indirect way about not discredting women who have been abused. There are ways and means of making that point known without being direct.

I am trying to find a statement issued on behalf of KC3 (concerning Andrew) in the last few months which instead of using 'Their Majesties' refers to 'His Majesty'. That wording was deliberate and I think was taken to mean that Camilla was enraged!

Yes, there are things they could do to show their dislike for him if they actually wanted to and did think what he did was wrong. The fact they haven’t says a lot imo.

I also remember Sophie putting her arm around Andrew when they were looking at the Queen's flowers after she died. People excuse that and say but his mother had died. I don’t care, there is no way my arm would be anywhere near that man. She may have had to stand near to him, she didn’t have to show any support to a sexual predator, even if his mother had died. These girls and young women went through a lot worst than losing their mother at a very old age.

As an institution the Met has been a disgrace for a long time. Its failed to reform its culture even after all those reports showing that racism and systemic bias is deeply embedded.
