Herald reporting the ANL judgement out on the 7th July. Which is when Harry is supposed to be in the UK.

https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/national/26245434.decision-harrys-legal-action-mail-publisher-expected/

Does this mean Harry knows the result? Or finds out the result on Tuesday?

Edited

He probably assumes he has one. He's so dim and arrogant

AtIusvue · 02/07/2026 15:47

Some saying online- that he already knows the result and this is why Harry is spiralling and that he will be a no show next week- blaming the security issue.

But is that how it works? Will he have the judgement already and Tuesday is just a public reading?

Yes, parties to a case get the judgement in advance so that they can decide if they want to appeal and prepare a public statement in advance of the public release.

I doubt it's more than a few days notice though. So maybe he's waking up to the news in sunny California right now? Though I doubt he gets up much before midday.

‘The unconditional worship of Meghan Markle is totally baffling.’

@Ohpleeeease, I’m still very struck by what you said this morning.

I suppose we should presume that the unconditional worship serves an essential psychological purpose for a very mentally disturbed man. Like she’s (for him) the reincarnation of you-know-who.

Anyway, he’s now at least visibly in the ballpark of being a danger to himself and others, so maybe someone will finally DO something. People who’ve pandered to him for political and personal gain like Yvette Cooper and Chris Ship should be bloody ashamed and held to account now.

Because this is the unhealthy polarised, rigid, black and white thinking of the mentally unwell - heros or villains, perfect vs evil, volatile rage and blame and shame. No mental agility or intelligence to see nuance in everything and everybody - including himself. It’s also his sunk costs fallacy in action - he has thrown all his eggs in one basket - he can’t be proved wrong.

RAVEC specialise in protecting high profile people. That's their job, and they do it very well. They are far better informed about current threats to Harry than you or any of us here, and will have based their judgement on the high level intelligence they are privy to.

Do you really think the British govt would want any harm to come to the son and grandchildren of the King on their watch?

ETA: Harry does get protection when he visits. I do think this needs to be pointed out regularly.

Edited

Thank you - what is it people find so hard to understand? Harry gets fully assessed taxpayer funded protection.
It may not be armed close protection officers though, and that's what pisses off Harry and his ill informed fans.

Chris Ship is well and truly in H&Ms pocket, so he'll follow whatever narrative he's told to, imho of course!

He's a stupid man. He couldn't even field questions from Adil Ray and Ranvir Singh (no disrespect to them, but neither of them are Paxman or Dimbleby).

BigAnne · 02/07/2026 16:03

I think MM will be in talks with divorce lawyers soon. They've blown every chance to make serious money. They're bad for each other at this point.

BasiliskStare · 02/07/2026 16:05

@OctopusFriend @IcedPurple and others - I do think there is some cause for a sticky on any thread re H&M PR disasters to remind people H does get RAVEC approved security when he visits the UK. (OK I am joking there but you see my point) In my view he's getting more than he deserves , but that it where his and my view differ. It cannot be beyond even H's wit to fly his children in under the radar for a very private visit to see their Grandpa in Royal premises , very privately without fanfare or public photographs - if that is what he wants. But apparently , no. Him releasing a security document he's paid for does make me think he's lost the plot a bit.

Yes, we should definitely have a sticky!

I am already anticipating the interview . Probably from the floor with one tear running down her sad face as she tells the interviewer how hard she tried but how it just wasn’t enough .
It will be the fault of lots of people but mainly W and C.

If she's strategic, this is her chance to get a few interviews/ cash. Hysterical tears, life with a drug addled royal blah blah

BasiliskStare · 02/07/2026 16:22

I do hope they don't divorce and that they are happy together , I do. Call me an old romantic if you will , but as a family I hope that for them. I have been appraised on various of these threads by those who know that 10 years in California is a threshold for divorce settlements. But I still hope they are happy. (Yup , I'm a bit soppy - but also they don't spoil another couple as my granny might have said)

AtIusvue · 02/07/2026 16:30

In fairness, they’ve lasted longer than I thought they would.

Harry must be incredibly difficult to live with. I expect him to be extremely moody and we know he has admitted to using drugs on a regular basis.

But I think the real challenge will be the next few years. They simply can’t continue to live this very expensive lifestyle. As ever won’t make any money and will fold at some point.

There’s no more big money pay days coming their way. This is when I think Meg will get tired of Harry. He doesn’t work, he’s miserable/paranoid/ sullen and cant keep the billionaire lifestyle going.

If she divorces Harry, she’s still Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. So she isn’t losing her title.

I think it’s a few years off though……maybe 5 years

BigWillyLittleTodger · 02/07/2026 16:32

They will divorce after KC has died IMO, once she has rinsed the well dry he will be of no use to her and she won’t give him a backward glance.

Or she could contact KC to say she tried to reason with him and encouraged him to visit his family but he's been difficult and that she can no longer remain with him due to his issues. I think when push comes to shove she'll want to appear to be a victim of PH.

Do they have a 'billionaire lifestyle' though?

No private jets (unless someone else is paying), no bespoke couture, no extravagant parties, no fully staffed holiday homes. Even their own home appears not to have been renovated in decades.

Their lifestyle seems quite dull and unenviable to me. Clomping around the garden with a basket of vegetables and plonking your backside next to the butter dish does not scream 'billionaire'!

She must look at Emma Thynne and be absolutely green with envy. That woman has everything that Meghan craved and didn't get.

Starryfifty · 02/07/2026 16:38

I really don't think she'll wait much longer to divorce. If they were really in love, they'd pack up and move to somewhere less expensive, less superficial and enjoy their lives with their young children

Agreed. And that diary she spoke about will all be about him and what she endured. She will be collating loads or footage already…..not sure I would want to see it though

What ET has is inside - not acquired, grifted, grasped. She has a charismatic peaceful personality.

Absolutely. She's also intelligent, creative and hard working. The management of Longleat is huge, and she's taken on a lot of the merchandising responsibility and made a huge success. She's also genuinely a good cook and presenter. She's had a hill to climb with discrimination and ill health, but you never hear her moan about her lot in life.

Exactly.

In materials terms, if Meghan had played her cards right she could have had 'better' than Emma, simply because she's a member of the royal family rather than a 'mere' Marchioness. But Meghan will never be satisfied and will always be looking for more, always trying to control her image and obsessing over trivial shyte. Emma appears to be much more secure and comfortable in herself.

If she really wanted to (and if she was a psychopath) she could not just stick the knife in, but give it a good twist by saying publicly that ‘there were three people in our marriage’ and I’m not sure he’d come back from that. It would be like a Shakespearean tragedy.

I wonder if Hazbeen knows about the divorce laws in California, they're only two years away from when the divorce laws start to apply, where the wife gets pretty much everything including the kids.
