Though I agree, Justdancevance, we could say the same about nearly all the charities he's been involved with - though admittedly they're not all suing him like Sentebale

Basically there just doesn't seem to be anything he won't make entirely about HIM, and while his wife's not so involved with this side of things, those appearances shhe does make offer another level of crassness and vulgarity

100% they have pitched to NF, Paramount, some other streamer their ‘return to the UK extravaganza’ - I suspect they shenanigans this week are already in the can - they have probably story-boarded all the pap dashes, cavalcades etc and NF have said - as part of their ‘1st Look’ deal - let’s see what you’ve got once your back - having already had their fingers burnt.

It’s all for the optics and $$$$$ - otherwise why is this time different - he has traveled numerous times to the UK on this deal and personally selected the much less safe option of no armed guards each time choosing to stay at hotels. He has also travelled with MM under this deal when she spoke at One Young World in Manchester and also his two children for the Jubilee.

Nothing has changed with the deal - he has taken in time and time before.

Going back to the point about all this fuss just for a 'one year to go' event, I also thought it was weird that they had a church service for their 10th anniversary as a charity. A church service.

Given that's what jubilees are celebrated with, I think it was another sign of how intent he is on bending Invictus to serve his own purposes. How many other non-religious charities would celebrate with a church service? It was Harry playing at being royal again (copying the jubilee stuff).

I think it's different because their plans seem to be unravelling in California and they are getting desperate. I don't think Netflix would be very interested in watching them in the UK when there is no indication that anything has changed from the royal side of things. What audience wants to watch Harry at Wellchild (worthy though this one thing might actually be)?

Two weeks ago, Invictus Germany held its second sports festival since Dusseldörf 2023.
This time 12 nations took part.

I think the problem with H is he has never had to take responsibility for himself , he's always had others to do that for him. So, royalling about is what he knows, and what he's happy doing. But his isn't a working royal now with all the support that role gets. However, he decided to leave that. M doesn't seem to be able to garner the money they would like after the initial diss-fest.
I think they went after the billionaire lifestyle arse about tit. Had they decided to be two trusted supportive people to W think what they would have had. Potentially Apartment 1 KP - which Oh my goodness I would like , and even if not a country house of their own, many properties on Royal estates they could have used for short breaks , and if done on the down low they could have holidayed in rich friends' villas etc. Plus a massive dress allowance. Plus security at home and whilst doing their jobs. But no - and I do think M thought she'd cashed in without realising the nature of what she was marrying into, , or H was a stepping stone to leaving for the golden paved streets of California , or she thought she could effect changes she was never going to be able to - obviously I don't know. Fair enough if it wasn't what they wanted , but take the responsibility for your decision.

I can never thank the poster enough who first came up with the Cair Paravel analogy - it made me smile. I suspect H has never read the Narnia books , because if he had he would realise Peter was the Main King (King Peter the Magnificent ) because he was the oldest. If you read the link summarising the event, it sounds like the regional president of Boeing was there.

This is the opportunity for Invictus to cancel the 1 year to go media circus and get rid of PH.

I can’t imagine how pissed off the athletes must be about this being all about PH.

If that selfish, spoilt, angry Hazbeen was genuinely concerned about security at Invictus, he’d cancel his attendance and make a video call. You know? To make sure the athletes are safe.

But no it’s all about him and having a large motor cavalcade and armed police escorts.

He’s jumped the shark now and I don’t think he can ever recover. It was all amusing before but now he’s putting other people’s lives in danger with a security report written in part by an ex-probation officer. I meant WTF.

IMO the best PR IG could get right now is to issue a statement on the following lines:

”Following the concerns over security PH has shared with the media about his attendance at the one year to go event, in the interests of supporting all veterans and members of the public intending to attend we have taken the following actions.

PH has been notified that we have made arrangements for him attend the event in a virtual capacity, by means of a brief speech to be streamed to attendees.

We have also commissioned a review into the implications of PH’s continued patronage of the charity to consider that it offers appropriate emphasis on the charity’s aims, the best interests of veterans and their families and of course the welfare of PH himself.”

This is probably the most damaging thing he has ever done. Hopefully some friends will now intervene and get him some help. Unless he's perfectly mentally sound and he's just a knob
