It would be great , unfortunately the media are in it for profit and clicks means more money, judging by the poor viewing figures for the invictus programme on Netflix, the public are not interested in enough numbers for them to do this.

Disagreeing with you or citing published sources isn't being nasty. If you think I've said something specific that's offensive, point it out instead of making personal accusations.

So ‘sources’close to the Sussex’s are claiming their request to stay at Windsor was turned down and their request to use taxpayer funded Royal helicopters was also turned down, along with Charles not intervening to get their requested armed security, leading to their view they are not being supported by Charles in their efforts to have their family rendezvous.

If this is true, I guess that explains why London is now off the itinerary, rather than a terrorist threat against Harry and Invictus.

I think it makes sense that they have been offered BP but wanted Windsor. It’s recently been announced that the King will not live in BP. Staying there would show the world that they are being kept at arms length.

I can get over the fact they, allegedly, demanded a Royal helicopter to ferry them around during their trip. Their sense of entitlement is off the chart.

I agree that the recent KC3 announcement would make them feel that they were being housed in the corporate event space / guest annex - not in the bosom of the RF. They don’t want the minimising spectacle of being timed (50 mins!) by the paps for an appointment with KC3. They want to give the impression they are all frolicking around on the lawns/quads etc 24/7 with KC3 - even if they don’t get the photo opp.

Also IIRC didn’t they request Windsor Castle itself (not one of the estate properties) as their official home when they were WRF?

They just want the Disnification of it all - blue light motorcades with outriders screeching in and out of a castle.
