I just find the entire saga a tiresome load of tosh. If Harry and his father want to get together for family time involving the grandchildren surely it could easily be arranged . King Charles could facilitate it if he wanted. A private flight to a UK airport then a helicopter ride from there directly onto a Royal estate . The public wouldn’t even need to know about it.

But no, the Sussexes leak advance notice of their proposed visit then threaten to cancel it. Also, King Charles was in the US recently. A private get together could have been arranged then. It’s like a bloody soap opera 😠

I think if I understand the basics of RAVEC works, it shouldn’t be beyond Harry, who has reportedly been told over and over again. I do think he struggles to accept any reality which doesn’t align with what he wants, ie being told no. Charles probably bears some responsibility for that, but tbf some people are just arseholes aren’t they?

KC was on government business though. It wasn't a private jaunt.
Harry isn't working and has a lot of money. He's could have visited his dad if he wanted to.
However, with him it's all about the song and dance.

I know that Harry isn't the sharpest knife in the box, but you, and others on here explained RAVEC very clearly to that confused poster. Harry could understand if he tried, but that would mean accepting that his staus is lower than KC and William's.
Also, he really needs to stop blaming his dad. Seriously. He's a 41 year old married man with 2 children. He needs to move on a bit. Most people have to.

But he does understand RAVEC because he has traveled to the UK multiple times already under their designated scheme - even with his wife and children to the jubilee.

Since that trip he has not even accepted the enhanced security option of staying in high security armed royal properties - preferring to stay in a less secure hotel with zero armed protection.

So why is this trip different - he will have had his risk assessment done in the last 28 days which puts him at a lower risk not requiring 24/7 armed security - most people would be ecstatic to learn that they were not at such high risk. He also has not yet accepted the armed higher security offer of accommodation - why not? Is it because he can’t film there? Or that they have been told they have 45mins appointment with C&C and don’t want to be holed up in a royal residence for a week with a filming ban and no other opp to hang with KC3?

Totall irrational and nothing to do with security.

My hunch is that he has been informed that he has lost ANL it will be published - along with more dirt on PH whilst they are here and MM will not walk into that shit storm

@PoppysAunt He did move on - and out of the country and walked away from Royal duties. He just wants some things back without doing the work. Like a spoilt child foot stamping. Absolutely. He wants his life back as an official royal with all that confers, plus a life making money in LA. In other words half in- half out.

Meghan is an absolute troublemaker. I suspected it from day 1 when everyone else was coo-ing and saying breath of fresh air best thing to happen to the monarchy for decades.

The Sussexes want material for a new victimhood book though they'll need to find a new ghostwriter. Over the last few years everything they've touched has been a failure or established things brought to collapse because of the involvement of the Sussexes, Sentebale, Invictus being the main ones. He really can't see the damage being done by letting her turn Invictus into the Meghan show where the Service personnel are merely props.
Were they to make the trip it will be interesting which members of the RF are involved with them in any way, somehow don't see Aunt Anne offering hugs and kisses for example.

It’s the same security deal he has always had and has always used without fuss every time he has been here before alone and with his wife and DCs.

Why the fuss now?

I suggest solely photo opps and / or having promised MM it would be in place and threatened KC3 that he can’t take the kids (when he did before for the jubilee).

The fuss now is he is DESPERATE for IPP status. He can’t carry on without it financially. He wants freedom to travel internationally without it costing him. He has really failed to understand his position. He’s either incredibly dense or a massive narc.
He’s not going to get it though.

When they quit, I remember them saying he would get IPP status. Then they would basically get free security whenever and wherever. It was something of a misjudgment, even for them.

It fixed issues with visas in America too.

If you are spending say £3/4 million a year on security. In 10 years that’s £30-40 million. He’s not that wealthy.
They could go underground but that reduces his opportunities to make money and he clearly wants the attention.

KC3 has seen Lilibet once in the uk. Hardly multiple visits.

Under this same policy Harry has done multiple visits to the UK solo, two visits with MM and one visit with his DCs.

His security was re-assessed on each occasion and proportionate support was provided on each different occasion.

Why is he not delighted / relieved that RAVEC intelligence have NOT found him and family not at the highest risk requiring 24/7 armed security?

You'd think he'd be relieved, but it seems to anger him.

I think RAVEC could tell Harold until they are blue in the face , that the risk level is not great but he’d think they were lying to him. He’s so paranoid and deluded he thinks it’s all a conspiracy against him.
