Problem is that people who are protected by RAVEC give way more than a months notice because they are IPPs and you don't do spontaneous international travel. But Harry doesn’t get this because he never really realised the reality of anything.

You're right, he really doesn't understand reality. He also doesn't understand that his status has changed, and he doesn't understand how RAVEC works.

I do think though that Charles needs to take some responsibility for bringing up a son who doesn't seem to have the first clue about how the Monarchy works. He's enabled him and indulged him but not taught him how to survive as an adult dealing with the real world. He's hasn't had any teaching about how the whole system works and what is required of him. I guess that was reserved for William.

No. He's a 41 year old adult, he needs to inform himself and live accordingly. Plenty of us didn't have great parenting, but have learned to cope and adjust in the adult world.

Surely he and his family would be given protection to from the airport from BP but not to visit places on a faux royal basis? That's the issue. They aren't carrying out 'engagements', these are private visits. In any case they haven't even confirmed that they will stay at BP which makes it even more difficult. They are being very rude and inconsiderate. Nothing new there. In any case Harry has his own security team. They just can't carry guns.
