Will they stay at Royal Lodge? I really hope it all works out for KC and to see his grandchildren would be lovely.

Harry is wearing a baby blue linen shirt and a black 'Invictus Australia' baseball cap. Meghan is wearing a darker blue and white striped shirt.

All this will they won't they is total manipulation at best or blackmail at worst. If we don't get top level vip security we're not coming. Good then they should stay away. Nothing but trouble from day 1.

MeetMeOnTheCorner · 29/06/2026 14:48

@Chimneyissues It feels like he’s blackmailing his father regarding getting him security. I agree he cannot afford it hence him wanting a relaunch by cosying up over here. William isn’t interested I hear.

Gets people talking. Raises her profile. Every decision they’ve made has been diabolical. Everything they touch turns to rubble. Why should the British taxpayer fund security for them? They didn’t want to be part of the Royal family. Why should Charles pay for their security after they’ve treated him and his wife so treacherously. We don’t want them here and I couldn’t care less about their kids.

Well the RF were happy to give the go ahead for a publically funded police escort for AMW and Fergie to attend the late Duchess of Kent’s funeral as recently as September last year, so on the basis of that logic, I don’t see why Harry shouldn’t be treated at the very least, equally?

Also, to be strictly accurate, H&M never said initially that they wanted to completely quit royal life, but they and the wider RF couldn’t agree terms on how this could be achieved.

And please don’t include all of us in your use of the word “we”. I don’t agree with how H went about things but support his right to speak out and his right to leave given that his wife isn’t British.

Also I cannot fathom the logic or moral code whereby AMW engaged in potentially criminal behaviour, and was protected by the royal family because he kept it in the family,

Whereas Hazza, didn’t do anything as remotely bad, but broke the RF’s omerta, spoke out against them and the system, and was blackballed!

That’s a bit twisted isn’t it?

Plus, although I am a Republican, I don’t see why, on purely human terms, why H shouldn’t reunite with his family, or why true monarchists, who I assume are reasonably patriotic, think that having an ongoing feud between the brothers, when William accedes to the throne, could be remotely good for the country?

None of it makes sense to me!

Chimneyissues · 29/06/2026 16:38

That’s been assessed probably and deemed fit and they are going to a private event thats been made public. The public were against them at the time so maybe a threat had been detected.
Im sure Harry would get the same if it was assessed it was necessary.

They're not "distracting" from AMW. What nonsense! AMW seems to have gone to ground, what is there to add for the moment?
The PR and machination are entirely from the Sussex camp. (Who interestingly enough have always been very quiet about AMW 🧐)
It's all about them.
H&M are the ones hoping to gain, with publicity and monetising. The RF are just getting on with stuff.

Is it nonsense?

I sometimes think I am entering a parallel universe when I read these threads honestly!

Imho, your post and many here, are proof that William’s crisis manager and the well resourced BP PR machine are doing sterling work!

Of course the RF have let the collective negative narrative on H&M run free in three major English speaking publishing and broadcasting areas and encouraged it at times in a strategic manner. I’m not the only observer to think so.

Was it simply a coincidence that Jason Knauf a former royal communications secretary, spoke out about a formal bullying complaint against Meghan Markle in 2018, a few days before H&M’s Oprah interview? And JK now works for Prince William's Earthshot Prize?

JK then went on to give a highly unusual and detailed interview on Australia’s 60-minute briefly very skilfully about Meghan’s alleged bullying (not sure but I think that one was before the launch of Meghan’s Netflix show or shopping site?) No mention of any alleged bullying by AMW!

Just like it was coincidence that teenage pal of Camilla, Jeremy Clarkson, wrote a piece e about MM so foul that he had to publically apologise for it,

https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/royal-family/camilla-jeremy-clarkson-piers-mogan-lunch-meghan-b2248431.html

It has suited the RF that the focus on H&M has distracted press attention away from AMW’s nefarious activities. It is only because of the Epstein case and Andrew Lownie’s dogged journalism that they were brought back in to focus!

There is plenty that remains to ne said and investigate about the AMW debacle;

** most importantly how much did King Charles know about AMW’s activities during the past fifteen years at least and how much was he involved in the cover up? Given that Charles, to his credit, was apparently the only person to object to AMW’s original appointment as Trade Envoy, he can hardly claim complete ignorance about AMW’s behaviour? Senior intelligence officers, MPs and the head of the Foreign Office reported on AMW to the late Queen. You do know the monarchy would still be covering for AMW unless evidence had come to light during the Epstein trial and VG’s book?

** how much was Charles involved in the pay off of Virginia Giuffre to avoid AMW going to trial and how much did he contribute, given that the pay off was made in February 2022, and the late QE2 died in September of the same year and a transfer of power had been gradually taking place? BP has issued a half hearted rebuttal of C’s involvement in the pay off, but as I understand it, the journalists of The Sun and Andrew Lownie both happened upon the same sources of this story independently.

*^ why is Palace PR churning out the story that they are fully supportive of the investigation of AMW while concurrently reminding previous PPOs and staff of their NDAs and the terms on which their future pensions are delivered? BP has offered a diffident rebuttal of this b

** and given what we know about the then Prince Charles and three incidents involving a cash for honours scandal, a cash for citizenship scandal, receipt of carrier bags of cash for charity, the alleged fencing of gifts where an internal investigation found nothing wrong, the questions around the funding of Dumfries House, etc etc, how much were, or are, the RF involved in similar strategies used by AMW in the past, albeit in a less extreme and crass way?

If you want to talk about monetising, my admittedly unsubstantiated theory is that the reason both Sophie and Fergie, as relatively new wives, felt at ease offering access to their husbands for money to supposed foreign dignitaries, was that they had seen this model employed by other Royal Family members before.

And the RF may well be “getting on with stuff” but I think most of us can observe that they have a serious of high profile public events for the summer season such as Trooping the Colour, Ascot , BP garden parties, the faintly ridiculous Order of the Garter ceremony, and then they bugger off on holiday to Scotland for months at a time!

Given that KC has cancer, to be completely fair, he can be forgiven an extended break. It’s also really good news that Catherine is now fit enough to return to a full work schedule.

But William and Catherine are said on average to take twelve weeks holiday a year! And it’s not as if they are squeezing in the washing and cleaning the bathroom, collecting their Amazon parcels and doing granny’s food shop when they are working either, like the rest of us are!

Anger mounts over Camilla lunch attended by Jeremy Clarkson and Piers Morgan

Despite his abhorrent alleged behaviour AMW didn’t decide he didn’t want to be part of the RF. (He’s had that decided for him now). They left the UK. They grifted and touted and dished dirt on Harry’s family for money. They’ve made their bed. They can lie in it.

Who is William's "Crisis Manager", pray?
Plus some of us can work out stuff for ourselves, ta.
It's utterly ludicrous to suggest that the RF would support the obsessive, peevish selfishness of Harry and fan the flames of his paranoia, just to distract from a man who has already lost his titles and is completely marginalised.
That is one of the more wild claims on here.
Utter nonsense
PS didn't read past paragraph 3.
It just seemed to get more fanciful.

😂😂😂

PoppysAunt · 29/06/2026 17:07

You know what's being forgotten in all of this awful behaviour of Harry?
Invictus.
The supposed reason for his visit. How can he use veterans in such a calculating way, entirely for his selfish ends, because he wants to crawl back into a system he trashed for money?
What a vile man.

Laugh away PoppysAunt but If you are going to quote me, at least quote me accurately please

What I actually said was:

Whereas Hazza, didn’t do anything as remotely bad

in the context (which you conveniently left out) of comparing his behaviour to that of AMW’s

Who is comparing Harry to AMW?
Certainly not me. No-one on here. Doesn't happen.

Chimneyissues · 29/06/2026 17:17

Does Harry actually care about Invictus or does he just use it to make himself look good: thats the impression I get.

Exactly and why do we all know about it! Can't Harry learn from his umpteen mistakes and keep his big blabbermouth shut.
I hope they don't come and i hope IG give him the boot. He's like a bad smell that just won't go away.

Vivienesarches689 · 29/06/2026 17:28

So Harry is solely responsible for the legion of increasingly hysterical stories and broadcasts and You Tube podcasts produced about his potential UK visit?

It’s hardly his fault that the press response to H & M is wildly out of proportion to the situation in hand!

I was looking at one such by Marc Dolan which popped up on my You Tube feed today after reading a RF thread!

There he was shouting and waving his arms about in the middle of the street, wearing comedy glasses, accusing Harry of behaving like a toddler 😀

He really comes across as quite deranged but it must be worth making a fool of yourself for the £££££ I suppose?

So many of these supposed royal commentators making a buck out of a family feud and licking their lips with glee are ghastly!

Yet so many monarchists on here seem to support their views? It’s a mystery to me honestly!

Well we know that Harry emails People magazine directly because they included the text of his email to them when they were talking up his 40th birthday plans and we know that Harry claimed not to have friendships with journalists in his recent court case (thats not the exact phraseology - but the gist) and then lo and behold we learn about movie snuggles and a weekend of naughtiness messages to a journalist.
We know that Meghan briefed Omid on his book, denied it and then oopsie, just remembered i did brief him, soz judge...

So, we do see a pattern of behaviour that certainly points to possiblity that they leak.

Yeah and just for balance we know that Camilla still dines several times a year with Marc Bolland, because he said so, the PR guru who managed her “public rehabilitation” who is married to Guy Black, who are both close friends with Rebekah Brooks, CEO of News UK to this day, who was in charge when the phone hacking scandal was taking place!
