Catherine is amazing!

Lovely that her husband, children, parents and brother were all there to meet her at the end. It must have been a really big deal for her. A great achievement.

It was, and what a lovely family she has.

Having spent the weekend following my son competing in a sporting event, it’s nice to know that Catherine had her family supporting her too, makes them seem relevant and as normal as they can be.

They just want an excuse to blame somebody else. Waaah we really wanted to come to the UK but nasty Charles won't let us have royal security so we can't come. She did the same to her own father about the wedding. He wasn't invited. He did not receive a an official wedding invitation. Harry has never even met him. Not once.

I just find that unbelievable. Harry was rich in time and money - why didn't he arrange to meet him?

I think it is pretty clear that Meghan did not want her father to meet Harry and would have engineered things even if he hadn’t made the faux pas with the paps which , in the scheme of things, was pretty minor .

Yes. That was an early red flag. They were engaged, yet he never met her Dad, even though she'd waxed lyrical about him on her blog, the Tig.

I think it was less of a faux pas and more of a faux pap - I wonder if MM actually set him with that pap - to give her the excuse to exclude him? She’s malicious, manipulative and devious (eg the letter she sent knowing it would be leaked, feeding Scobie info anonymously throughout).

The RF overall benefits from not having an ongoing soap opera in their midst.

As a Republican, I think the level of interest is absurd and that we should keep our eyes well and truly trained on the activities within the AMW investigation and who knew, what and when?

It’s bigger than that. He has been told that he isn’t getting the security lots of times. So he’s released his itinerary for his faux royal tour and thinks he will force their hand and set a precedent (won’t someone think of the poor sick children). And they’ve still said no.
He can’t afford to keep spending like he is. They did earn money from Netflix etc but that’s one and done. Apparently the estate in California is expensive to keep secure as it’s so big. It’s just another attempt to get somebody else to pay for his security saving him millions a year.

I agree . As far as I am aware AMW is still being investigated by the police ( and I for one hope he is charged) so unless he does something else , there is nothing to write/ discuss at the moment .
And yes it is interesting that The Office of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex (!) have not issued a statement condemning AMW especially given M’s supposed support of women .
Makes me wonder if there is any truth in the rumours that AMW and M had encountered each other pre Harry .

Well she certainly befriended Eugenie at Soho House before she met Harry, and had been to Royal Lodge. The Sussexes maintained a friendship with the whole York family. Yes, it's a puzzler, the lack of any kind of condemnation....🧐
