Can’t see a new thread so thought I would start a new one to continue discussing the grifters

Would Meghan really have the brass neck to come over? She must realise that she’s deeply unpopular - very likely to be booed by members of the public unlucky enough to see her, and very likely to be shunned by other members of the RF.

Any publicity/financial gains from being Royal adjacent would be minuscule. I just can’t see it happening. Remember how uncomfortable she was doing the walkabout with W and C after QEII died? She ramped up the doe eyed “I need protecting from the evil PPoW” to the n-th degree.

I actually thought she was side-eyeing William in a different way, like she had on multiple occasions previously! I have long suspected, because of the doe-eyed way that she used to look at him, that MM sometimes thought she'd landed the wrong brother…

They’ll need to be frisked for hidden cameras and microphones before they’re let off the plane surely?

I can see that they would all come but not be seen in public. The kids can see Grandpa and ‘wicked step Grandma’ but Meghan will be sick that day so won’t go.

Once it is known they were (invisibly) here and saw the king, might have gone to the island at Althrop, saw the Yorkies, Zara etc etc. their Royal Adjacent-ness is somewhat replenished. But will they be able to resist monetising it? If they do it’s game over in terms of rapprochement with Charles and William. If they don’t then for Meghan at least what is the point of doing it?

I don't see any point in them coming if they can't monetise. They are genuinely that ruthless. I guess by it known they visited KC, that's something for them

The only public event would be IG One Year to Go which is being held in the NEC - she will be applauded by the audience who assume are invited dignitaries, guests etc so already on side and well behaved. There will be no ‘public’ in attendance to boo.

Zara and Mike are close to W and C so I reckon they will give them a wide berth .

Honestly it seems pointless. They can't sell tickets for it - the one year to go event, that is. I'm assuming there won't be a big reveal of some major sports person who is going to appear. Bet the council folk would rather be getting on with their work.

Reading today’s posts on the thread has given me a horrible thought.
Can anybody remember the rumours about Meghan photographing Charlotte before Megxit? I didn’t give them any thought as I thought it was fake information but it implied that Meghan took lots of pictures wherever she went.
If they split/she writes a book -imagine if she has a picture of herself or Harry at Diana’s grave. Would she go that far?
IF they all come over in the summer then if I were Charles Spencer I don’t think I would be letting Meghan over to the island without leaving her phone on the ‘shore’.
I mean, I know Charles Spencer knows Meghan somewhat -but after all the lies they have both told would you trust her or Harry?

I also don’t understand this ‘one year to go’ for Invictus.Its a waste of our money having to pay for security for him.
The last games had barely any spectators - it’s hardly going to be the hot ticket event of next summer is it?? They could host it in my village hall and I don’t suppose they would sell all the tickets.
I would much prefer the £26 million to go to housing ex military than on a ridiculous expensive event,

Been watching the Daily Express podcast and it’s presenter, JJ Anisiobe (who used to shill for the Sussexes on Talk TV) says he’s been told Harry is going to do some event at Aston Villa’s ground. No words if this is true, the little shit.

They're close to the York sisters, but no-one else would want to spend time with them. Not Zara and certainly not Camilla, after everything they've said.

I would assume the men in grey suits are anticipating a future divorce and know damn well Meg is a two bit grifter. Of course she's going to write a book post divorce.

The best option would have H meet up with his Dad with the 2 kids but can't see her allowing that. I really can't see why KC would want to meet her

@Indianrollerbird I don't think Aston Villa would co operate with any plans Harry might have because they are much better off having two future kings as fans. Why on earth would they risk annoying or alienating them?

At a stretch, maybe they invite Invictus athletes to use their training gym or similar but even if H visited, I'd bet on their being no Villa staff there to host him. They'd get Invictus people to do that.

There's still the issue of where they stay. Any Royal residence would be absolutely out, so not staying with KC at Clarence House, or in a flat at Windsor.
Buckingham Palace has flats that could be made available. But if they got to stay there Meghan would absolutely milk it. She'd make sure they were filmed in their cavalcade of cars sweeping in. Even if they were told they couldn't have the run of the place, she'd still find a way. Photos of the children in one of the state rooms or letting the children into the garden to play and making sure she had a shot of them running down the steps that the Royals are always photographed on as they descend to join in at a garden party.

I wouldn't offer Buck Pal. Maybe a discreet flat in St James Palace?

Personally I'd bug it. Two can play at that game. Maybe that's why Harry has always declined the offer of staying at a Royal accommodation and preferred hotels. For Meghan and the children, to have to stay in a hotel will be so humiliating. Then just the briefest of audiences with Grandpa and no pictures. I can't see her coming over for that.
