Can’t see a new thread so thought I would start a new one to continue discussing the grifters

I don’t think they’re close to the York
sisters any longer.

Really? Those two women sound right up their street.

There's still the issue of where they stay. Any Royal residence would be absolutely out, so not staying with KC at Clarence House, or in a flat at Windsor.
Buckingham Palace has flats that could be made available. But if they got to stay there Meghan would absolutely milk it. She'd make sure they were filmed in their cavalcade of cars sweeping in. Even if they were told they couldn't have the run of the place, she'd still find a way. Photos of the children in one of the state rooms or letting the children into the garden to play and making sure she had a shot of them running down the steps that the Royals are always photographed on as they descend to join in at a garden party.

I wouldn't offer Buck Pal. Maybe a discreet flat in St James Palace?

Personally I'd bug it. Two can play at that game. Maybe that's why Harry has always declined the offer of staying at a Royal accommodation and preferred hotels. For Meghan and the children, to have to stay in a hotel will be so humiliating. Then just the briefest of audiences with Grandpa and no pictures. I can't see her coming over for that.

That's a tricky one alright. Not a chance if she's staying in any Royal residence and not monetise it. This is a headache for the MIGS indeed.

Starryfifty · 18/06/2026 22:36

And it's not if KC can say, sorry, no room 😅😅

Mylovelygreendress · 18/06/2026 22:37

Starryfifty · 18/06/2026 22:06

I would assume the men in grey suits are anticipating a future divorce and know damn well Meg is a two bit grifter. Of course she's going to write a book post divorce.

The best option would have H meet up with his Dad with the 2 kids but can't see her allowing that. I really can't see why KC would want to meet her

If they divorce M will want 2 things - money and her title . I would imagine the MIGS know this and any settlement will have very strict conditions attached to it so a book ( who would believe it anyway?) might not happen.

In their shoes I'd take the tack that it needs to be discreet because of the 'security risk' they've been worried about all this time 🙄 so not one of the big showy places. St James's Palace could work as Americans are unlikely to be as familiar or impressed with it. Has the work started on Frogmore yet?

And yes, I'd bug it <taps nose>

Reading today’s posts on the thread has given me a horrible thought.
Can anybody remember the rumours about Meghan photographing Charlotte before Megxit? I didn’t give them any thought as I thought it was fake information but it implied that Meghan took lots of pictures wherever she went.
If they split/she writes a book -imagine if she has a picture of herself or Harry at Diana’s grave. Would she go that far?
IF they all come over in the summer then if I were Charles Spencer I don’t think I would be letting Meghan over to the island without leaving her phone on the ‘shore’.
I mean, I know Charles Spencer knows Meghan somewhat -but after all the lies they have both told would you trust her or Harry?

I also don’t understand this ‘one year to go’ for Invictus. Its a waste of our money having to pay for security for him.
The last games had barely any spectators - it’s hardly going to be the hot ticket event of next summer is it?? They could host it in my village hall and I don’t suppose they would sell all the tickets.
I would much prefer the £26 million to go to housing ex military than on a ridiculous expensive event,

The rumour I read was that the Wales nanny , Maria , found Meghan taking photos of Charlotte’s bedroom .
As far as Invictus is concerned the 2027 event clashes with Camilla’s 80th birthday and apparently some events are planned including a Service of Thanksgiving and a Ball .

I would stick them back in Nottingham Cottage! That would teach them.

Starryfifty · 18/06/2026 22:47

On the other hand, why do RF need to put them up at all ? They could arrange their own accommodation and still visit KC

A military charity. I have seen certain YouTubers suggest they are responsible for some SS activity.

Weren't the Scotty's kids promised a special surprise from Harry one Remembrance Sunday - which turned out to be a very small bag of sweets?

MyDogClive · 18/06/2026 22:55

Isn’t BP open to the public over the summer? I’m sure Meg could buy them all some tickets.

The Times take, if you can stomach it. Warning contains wishful thinking.

Harry, Meghan and the kids are coming! Will Kate and Wills meet them?

Meet their cousins? They cannot be serious

My main thought is I can’t imagine Meghan ever wearing Boden.

PullTheBricksDown · 18/06/2026 23:26

Total stirring from the Times. They know perfectly well the Waleses will be unavailable for this. Beatrice and Eugenie can decide for themselves whether they want to keep the future king on side or not, depending on their feelings of confidence in their own family situation. I wouldn't risk it.

More talking up Theo Rycroft as the peacemaker. He's clearly annoyed someone who would like him moved on.

TheAutumnCrow · 18/06/2026 23:29

Lee Cohen’s been reading our thread too!

But even he needs to catch up on the Invictus ‘origin story’ guff. Harry was not the founder. He couldn’t set up an ironing board, let alone an international event. He couldn’t think up a recipe for an omelette, let alone a financial sponsorship arrangement. The whole idea of Harry doing Invictus is ludicrous.

I wonder if this crap is all coming from Theo Rycroft himself, the rather odd new-ish MIG with what seems to be an over-inflated sense of his own skills and importance?

Is he doing diplomatic actualisation above his station??

ETA: Just seen your post @PullTheBricksDown - interesting idea. Very interesting. I can imagine Rycroft being annoying.

Yes it was a joke - I don’t really think that the Sussexes employ someone called Delia Phrimp 😂

Oops, 😆

Sorry if this is the wrong thread but just wanted to make a point that meanwhile, this is what the Wales family actually have to put up with. The Sandringham ‘stalker’ case has revealed all this today. Upsetting for many of the royal family to learn in the middle of their Ascot public appearances. And Carole and Michael Middleton.

Andrew stalker researched Princess Charlotte and killing methods

‘Man accused of threatening Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor allegedly searched online for information on weapons and members of Royal family

A man who allegedly threatened Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor also researched the Princess of Wales and her children and looked up weapons and methods of killing, The Telegraph can reveal.’

I’ll try and archive it.

Possibly this will put the kybosh on the crowd excesses of the Xmas Sandringham walk. Hope so. It was becoming too much.

femtosecond Thank you. A word I have never heard before. Love it, and so apt in this context.

That one passed me by so I looked it up. They look like they had been decanted from a bigger share bag into a smaller bag tied with a ribbon. Wonder who gave him that idea?!

Notice that most of that is sources from "a business associate of Harry's" plus a large amount of speculating. I think it's Sussex manifesting (ie Harry hoping security will be restored when he has always had security) plus rubbish like the Wales children being desperate to see cousins they have never met.

As I said upthread the press are having a field day but of you read it there are very few facts. It is nothing more than the usual "will they come at Christmas" writ large.

Incidentally who has it out for Catherine at The Times? So much of this stuff presents her in a negative light.

The Spectator article saying exactly what’s we said on here, Invictus remains firmly the Harry & Meghan show.

The veterans deserve an occasion focused squarely on their service, not tangled up in separate talks about protection and the full gamut of Sussex drama.

the latest noise is likely more motivated by the couple’s recognition, late in the day, that royal cachet was the only thing keeping the Sussex brand afloat. Without it, the Californian dream has proven hollow.

Britain will surely support genuine service to veterans. However, it is under no obligation to provide the stage, the security, or the forgiveness to a couple who rejected, disparaged, and now needs it once more. It can back Invictus and the veterans without giving Harry and Meghan a fresh platform for reinvention. The public will make its own call – if and when the moment arrives.
