Can’t see a new thread so thought I would start a new one to continue discussing the grifters

I doubt the RAVEC arrangements have changed but they won't announce anything about security so by bringing the children Harry can pretend he got his way.

Son visits Father is basically the story, it's a nothing burger played for clicks.

This is a ridiculously positive take on Harry. I think he's complicit in everything Meghan does, if only because he stands quietly by her side. This is a possible indication of what stance the British media will take on next month's visit (e.g. very generous to Harry).

If the link doesn't work (I know sometimes archive links don't), it's the DM's Liz Jones article which begins 'The cracks in Harry and Meghan's perfect facade...'

Love the idea that Harry was sitting 8 rows back at the basketball through choice and that he is on a par with Timothée Chalamet and Taylor Swift 🤪🤪🤪

Exactly @noonames That article was hugely flattering to Harry. I might be nauseous next month if they carry on in the same vein!

Yet another article . I am more and more convinced that H and M are feeding this information to the media but something will happen ( such as KC unavailable or very strict conditions attached to any meeting) therefore M and the DC will not come .
I simply cannot envisage Meghan willingly coming to the U.K. .

That article's just ripping off what posters have been saying on this thread yesterday and this morning! Look at the time stamp(s) and the wording.

Or rather, it's Phil Dampier (who he?? - Ed) ripping off what posters are saying on this thread.

We are the royal experts now, dear vipers. Do a lovely twirl.

Yes this. They can accept the invitation to stay at a Royal residence - this time - that's been on offer every other time, but that'll make it look like something has changed. Probably coupled with a People article about how they're so positive about their new relationship with Harry's family and it marks a turning in the road. Meanwhile precisely nothing will have changed behind the scenes or in security terms (Harry will have given them the required notice this time) but since neither Charles nor RAVEC will be issuing press releases or giving interviews about it, who's to know for sure?

Liz Jones is a maverick figure though, to put it mildly. Though she's someone who shares Harry's delusion about thinking they live a relatable life like ordinary folk do, when the truth is quite different. She is an animal lover though so I assume she doesn't know about, or is wilfully ignoring, Harry's poor treatment of polo ponies.

Perhaps the publicity, stoked by H&M, is an attempt to influence the threat assessment: look how much attention we generate! And we're coming over to do something linked to defence/war which carries a threat (Invictus), and we've got small children with us.

I wouldn't be surprised if they got security on this visit for those reasons but that that wouldn't mean they can get it any time, whenever they want. But if they get it this time, for those reasons, they're likely to attempt to repeat the 'formula' that got them what they wanted. So they'd never do discreet trips over, they'd always do noisy ones and make them linked to the military/politics.

Starryfifty · 18/06/2026 17:11

A few onliners saying a trip to Diana's grave / photo op is on the cards 🙄

As if Earl Spencer would allow that! They're delusional.

Not2identifying · 18/06/2026 17:13

They'd need Charles Spencer's co-operation to visit Diana's grave but I don't think he'd withhold it, for obvious reasons. But I do think he'd say reporters/photographers aren't allowed to accompany them. That would be another thing designed to make the trip more 'noisy' and 'attention-grabbing' to demonstrate their continued high public profile (for risk assessment purposes).

They're such absolute morons to try to make their 'security' into a public slanging match.

I literally can't think of a single other person who has ever done that.

He will not allow a photo opp.
Can you imagine? All of them weeping and clinging to the gravestone.
Harry's account of their previous visit in Spare was bad enough.

"it was claimed today..." 🤔

Phil Dampier looks like an anagram to me. I bet if you look through the Sussex staff list there'll be a Delia Phrimp.

Last November, when Meghan dragged Harry along to Kris Jenner’s birthday party, he looked undeniably uncomfortable mingling with the LA crowd.

He was pissed out of his tits, Liz. You should know the feeling. He was gawping at Kris Jenner's new tits, Meg looked like she'd finished her hostess shift at LA's shittest art gallery, and Kim K & sis already blabbed they were begged to take the photos down by the deranged Sussex PR machine.

noonames · 18/06/2026 17:34

If Harry had anything to do with that Liz Jones article, it’s not exactly a glowing endorsement of his boldly loved wife. Maybe all this bringing the family over bollocks is really about putting pressure on Meghan to comply.
<plot twist>

And no Netflix, I hope!

I doubt he can even lie straight in bed.

BasiliskStare · 18/06/2026 19:15

Actually I think if they do bring Netflix that could make KC's life a bit easier. Blanket - no filming , no photographs, no recording of any sort when you are with the family or in family/ royal premises & none of us will be turning up to your public events in case of filming (or ending up in an One Off advert).
I also think if " as has been reported " - may not be true - Charles Spencer told H he wasn't going to support a documentary about Diana - that gives him carte blanche to insist on the same at Althorp .

Wasn't there some kerfuffle about a scene of the backs of H&M walking towards the BP balcony in their documentary, & they didn't have permission to film in BP.

Any which way - love H as I am sure KC does , I can't see he would trust H&M as far as he could throw them , and if he wavers , let's hope Camilla and W&C put some titanium in his spine.

He took Meghan and she knelt down on the grave, clung to the headstone and begged Diana for guidance. It was quite a performance, apparently.
