Can’t see a new thread so thought I would start a new one to continue discussing the grifters

Completely off the point but I like listening to Radio4 Extra when I've gone to bed.
Just heard a story about Harry that I'd not come across before. When introduced to Stephen K. Amos, Harry brightly said "How amusing! You don't sound like a Black chap!".
Stephen said that, in his head, he replied "What is I supposed to sound like, Massa?" but his natural good manners took over and he just said something non-committal.
Shame H didn't display natural good manners (and a lack of racism).

What will she move on to though? She’s mid forties with two kids. She has no talent and no way to earn money really. She lost her looks in my opinion. What will she do with her life?

She'll get a huge divorce settlement. I do think she's still a very beautiful woman. She could still bag some old oligarch type. I could be far reaching though. However, I honestly don't know how any man could tolerate her. She's absolutely insufferable

That’s shocking.

Interesting that this is little known incident, that happened while Harry was on official
duties (Royal Variety Performance), happened around the same time frame as he called a fellow solider by the P word. The palace declined to comment at the time, which is in itself disgraceful. He was an ignorant , racist little shit, and I doubt that has changed much.

The palace should have reigned him in years ago. Why have they let him away with so much? Same AMW. Did KC and Diana take their eye off the ball completely when it came to parenting? Why is William not like this ?? Maybe he was and it was covered up too

Where will she get a huge divorce settlement from?
Harrywont have any money by then. If she waits till after the King is dead then any money The King mayor may not leave to Harry will be tightly wrapped up in a trust. Same for the Kids.
Fergie got bugger all. Diana who was the Princess of Wales only got £17 million -considering Jackie Kennedy Onassis got 26 million from the Onassis estate 22 years before Diana then Diana’s payment wasn’t that huge.

Harrys money will have long gone. And since he’s gone from $1 million per speech when he first left abandoned his monarch, duty and country to $50k (in Australia) his fast downward trajectory isn’t showing any signs of improvement so their earning power has just gone. Poof.
If this trip doesn’t get him something substantial from his dad I reckon the house will be subtly marketed and sold by Christmas 2027.
It must cost them a fortune to run it and pay for the security on it. I just don’t see how they can sustain it, ergo their Chief of Staff! I wonder if they have a butler!

Has Harry got money?

I can't believe KC won't leave him a huge inheritance (not from the duchy) I could be wrong😅

"..notions" is such an Irish saying, love it 😆

Right, decided now was a good time to start Tom Bower's Betrayal. Not far in and have just reached this gem, where Megan goes to discuss her coat of arms with the principal at the College of Arms:

Woodcock's task was to prevent any embarrassments but Meghan's request was unprecedented. Convinced that she had been created a duchess in her own right, unrelated to Harry being the duke, she told Woodcock: 'I want on the coat of arms a songbird with its tongue cut out'. Woodcock was flummoxed. Any hint of nostalgia was quashed by her moral certitude. The Duchess eventually agreed to a nightingale, but without the image of it being forcibly silenced.

When did they create her coat of arms? Is that supposed to represent her being voiceless, just like Ariel?

It was created shortly before the wedding in May 2018, I think, according to this:

Do have a read. It’s bloody hilarious. Like she’s some sort of Shakespearean thesp.

’The power of words’. ‘The power of communication’. Yeah, sure, if you say so, luv Confused How’s the vocabulary coming along? Recognised any good ‘archetypes’ holding us back lately?

Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex: Coat of Arms

A Coat of Arms has been created for The Duchess of Sussex. The design of the Arms was agreed and approved by Her Majesty The Queen and Mr. Thomas Woodcock...

'A Question of Attribution' is running on BBC iplayer. It's a fictionalised account of a meeting between HMTLQ & Anthony Blunt. Prunella Scales acts QE & James Fox as Anthony Blunt. The screenplay was written by Alan Bennett is chefs kiss as you can imagine.
Don't miss it- ive waited years to watch it again. A real treat.

I can't believe KC won't leave him a huge inheritance (not from the duchy) I could be wrong😅

KC has just announced that he'll be releasing all of his tax details for his personal income. I imagine H&M would be hoping for a lot less information being released, as it could reveal the extent of KC's ongoing propping up of their lives. When people talk about huge interitences, H is likely to get in the low 10s of millions in any inheritance (obviously still an enormous sum). Not enough for M to have a 'divorce of the century' so she'll need to find someone else to support her desired lifestyle. I think the tax release is just one part of a very significant process to first reveal and then slowly remove all of the parts of a monarchy people find most distasteful during a cost of living crisis - the grace and favour housing, or anything financial regarded as not benefitting the country and monarchy. KC and W are doing this now, so that when W becomes king he doesn't have to do this, and all he'll need to do is deal with the extended family's titles. They will go, I'm sure.

Lifestooshort71 · 21/06/2026 06:52

Even if KC does meet L&A this summer, they would never have the same bond as the one he has with G, C&L. Seeing your grandchildren grow up, being a part of their lives, is what creates that special bond. KC would have to be very formal with them, aware of the publicity coup that would may emerge later - H&M would squeeze that lemon until its pips squeaked!

OctopusFriend · 21/06/2026 06:53

The release of the tax information is just the beginning. KC is starting a process now.
H&M think they have unearned wealth and privilege for life, but maybe not.

TheAutumnCrow · 21/06/2026 07:00

The King’s tax is a huge story.

Keep up, G-String!

Remember though that Harry spent most of his childhood at boarding school. I would wager a fairly large sum that lots of people of his age and class, and frankly loads of people in general, had those attitudes at that time. This isn't too excuse Harry in any way simply to point out that his racism is sadly not an outlier. It is shocking yes but also, at that time, wide spread. Add the superiority complex that Eton seems to specialise in and I'm not sure even the best parenting could counter the larger influence of school and peers.

Harry was saying these things as an adult, he should take accountability for them.

How she has the brass neck to use the phrase ‘I can reveal …’ about stuff already discussed on this thread a day or two ago, I really don’t know.

The whole article keeps contradicting itself and seems to rely heavily on no one actually watching Trooping or having any critical thinking whatsoever.

First paragraph, sources say William is furious, second paragraph, this is denied by the palace. I Wonder who the source was for the first paragraph?

It's pretty clear that the "Angry William" trope is once again being pushed, presumably in the absence of anything else to criticise him for. It's a clear case of transference as I think we can all see who the angry brother actually is.

Only a few more weeks of this rubbish to go. Sigh.

Not2identifying · 21/06/2026 07:32

@Starryfifty And to add to the comment above, Charles and Diana were so miserable for much of their time together that I really don't think they were good parents. They focused on trying to fix what went wrong in their own childhoods (e.g. ensuring they didn't go to the Scottish boarding school Charles hated) and making sure they had the chance to wear normal clothes when not on duty and making sure they knew they were loved but didn't spend a huge amount of time with them (something we've seen William change for his kids). I suspect C & D fluctuated between distant and indulgent.

And their other focus was their separate love lives.

OctopusFriend · 21/06/2026 08:16

The "angry William" trope is getting boring now. Anyone who sees him operate, visiting charities, doing state duties, listening to people, promoting sustainability, support for mental health and homelessness see a different picture.
It's really very unpleasant for people to spread these unfounded rumours.

ReallyReilly · 21/06/2026 08:28

I would love to know what the truth of all this is. I did think Kate looked miserable and tense at Trooping and wondered if something was up.

Recklessismymiddlename · 21/06/2026 08:31

Well do you know what Harry is be fucking livid if I was William and had a brother like you

you and your wife lied on tv and told the world our family was racist, you then backtracked

your slimy toady Named my wife and our dad as ‘the racist’ that you had already backtracked on

my wife and dad had cancer at the same time

you wrote about private stuff about me in your book

your wife Moaned that my wife didn’t want to loan her lipstick but did anyway (crime of the century)

thats just for starters.

Funnily enough the Sussexes only ever want to reconcile with the royal side never the Markle side….

Good points.
Also, true about never wanting to reconcile with the Markle side.
I wonder why?

So I’m guessing Harry can wake up today to enjoy a hibiscus tea, bread with no butter but fruit jam and sprinkles served on numerous silver trays.
