Can’t see a new thread so thought I would start a new one to continue discussing the grifters

Out of curiosity, if Harry and family are put up in St. James or BP, ate they also provided with meals. If not, can they order in takeout? Can't see them actually cooking.

Maybe they could send out for flower sprinkles.

I’m looking forward to the explanations for Meghan’s return to the salty island too 🤪

Good point that Harry’s arguments about security might have been a figleaf for the uncomfortable truth that none of the RF would see them. Coming back and still not having contact with any of the family would be very embarrassing… let’s see. It’s so transparent that Harry is trying to force Charles’s hand, maybe RAVEC’s too, and is using the press he despises to do so. (Maybe he knows that a no from both is on the way.) What a manipulative and hypocritical arsehole he is.

BemusedAmerican · 20/06/2026 08:23

I suppose offering them guest rooms in the Tower of London is out for the same reason...

I wonder what the real problem is with BP - I’d have thought they’d enjoy the prestige. Presumably it’s because that’s where visiting dignitaries are put up, and the Sussexes want to stay with someone, to show how close they are to the family. Can’t see that happening! Nobody will want to bump into those two at the breakfast table. Even if Meghan’s suitcase is packed with fruit spread, flower sprinkles and cremated croissants for all.

Hilarious!
They won't stay at BP for security reasons because it's such a "high profile, visible building" 🤣🤣

Oh look they have been offered exactly the same as has been offered every time Harry comes.

It's not in the media interest to say that because they love the drama but it's obvious nothing has changed.

A for William having a tantrum and arguing with Charles, absolutely no evidence of that. We all saw them at Ascot together after Trooping. Gossip mongers will spin anything to get clicks, even apparently leaving lunch before everyone else because of a prior appointment. It reminds of the many times there has been a convoy seen in London which "must" mean something dire for the royals rather than simply people moving around a capital filled with rich and protected individuals.

Sykes credibility is diminished, like Lady Colin's every time his need for revenue over accuracy is revealed

Passingthrough123 · 20/06/2026 08:32

What I keep thinking is why would MM want to stay in a Royal palace when she has very publicly said that being in the institution made her so miserable she wanted to take her own life? Any therapist worth their salt would tell her not to return to the scene of her trauma or surround herself with the people who triggered it. That's exactly what she'll be doing with the MIGS though.

They must need their funds topping up really badly that she's willing to put aside those feelings. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Invictus, Birmingham is a hot mess. KC has no doubt been advised to stay well clear

I'm not sure but my recall is that Heads of State have never attended Invictus, anywhere. It's usually their wives or deputies. Anyone know for sure?

Absolutely. This contrived "conflict" between KC and PW is so obviously another lie. It's very nasty.
It's quite obvious how well everyone was getting on at the Phillips wedding, Trooping and Ascot.

So do I. It is a very recognisable building and place. And it is a Palace.

I assume they want to stay with C&C to have plenty of time to bully them.

I wonder if the ANL results are known and they need daddy more than ever.

Is the Castle of Mey available? I’m hoping that Charles can’t find time to meet them for more than 5 minutes.

The reporting by Tom Sykes is painting a very different picture to the Rebecca English article, according to him there has been a huge fallout between the King and William, William, Catherine and the Children refused to attend the lunch after Trooping the Colour because William is absolutely furious that Charles has been the one facilitating the return of H&M, he says Charles is paying for the trip and is underwriting their security from his personal funds, he says William will never set foot In Sandringham again if Harry and Meghan are invited, which report is closer to the truth?

I don't blame William if this is true. There are families all over the country where the same scenario plays out – one sibling is a dick and falls out with everyone, but parents still welcome them back like the Golden Child. The other sibling/s, the one/s who are doing all the grunt work, get hacked off that whatever GC sibling does, they're always forgiven.

Maybe Harry needs to make sure the king and queen need the ‘right people’ around them like the late queen did? 😉

That’s a good point. My extensive research of super yacht chefs on YouTube (🤪) tells me it can be quite the circus with dietary demands and different meal times and foods for Nannies and children. Which makes me wonder how many people will be in the entourage they bring. IF the children come, presumably at least one nanny, maybe some of their own security guys, assistants, I assume Meghan has some dogsbody who sorts wardrobe etc. I guess the days of makeup artists and hairdressers coming along are over. And the assistant who was in trouble for tapping Harry’s shoulder at the hospital in Melbourne (if she’s still working for them)? I wonder if Marcus will be in attendance?

Offering accommodation will involve much more than a couple of guest bedrooms.

Personally I’d have thought Meghan would jump at Buckingham Palace for the opportunity to ensure she/they are filmed arriving and to make sure she got some pictures of the children in recognisable parts of the palace. But I expect they or Harry know what the form will be. I think outside of the Late Queen’s accommodation and the state rooms the flats offered for minor royals to use are very basic. I’m sure I recall complaints from various people over the years. And I doubt the staff will be inclined to go above and beyond professional necessity, so not exactly a warm welcome. They would probably be strictly confined to certain areas to prevent photographing their royal return.

Terms and conditions wherever they are offered are probably such that they will prefer a hotel. Which will be hugely expensive for them all plus entourage. I just don’t think Meghan and the children will be coming. What a lot of fuss and bother for half an hour or so with their Grandfather. What will they do the rest of the time? It won’t be happy holidays at Sandringham or wherever. I don’t think William will want them setting foot on the Windsor estate anywhere, wherever accommodation could be arranged.
Children confined to hotel rooms with nanny and the occasional sightseeing expedition with the proles! 🤣

Edited

I think they have to pay for any food that is provided, unless they are literal guests of the King.

The idea that a place the late Queen lived in hasn't got appropriate security for a minor royal and an influencer is laughable. I wish the press would stop reporting it with a straight face.

The Sussexes are ‘emotionally blackmailing’ the royal family. Rebecca English has also been lurking here, with possibly Alison Boshoff.

‘It feels like emotional blackmail’: As Harry and Meghan announce return to Britain with Archie and Lilibet, insiders say they fear decision to bring children is nothing more than 'manipulation' of Royals and a bid for huge global publicity

I’m just reading the archived article now. There are some very familiar arguments in it, as well as the feeling of the inevitable media-stoked backlash brewing against Brand Sussex. What bizarre games these ‘royal editors’ and columnists play.

Mostly I feel sorry for Birmingham and veterans watching the Sussex manipulations and the pointless spectacle of the Sussex egos being stroked in case Harry has a tantrum.

It all sounds a bit of wishful manifesting on the part of H.

"Before the end of the year".... it's June, we have another 6m

"he believes this is happening"... I'm sure H does.

As for all the reporting about a rift between Charles and William - I do take that with a pinch of salt. I can easily believe they don't always see eye to eye, and that things were especially fraught for years after Diana died. William has matured, and as a pp said - he seems pragmatic that his father loves his brother. It's all supposition, but I can see W telling C to meet up with H if he wants (he has already) but to keep the Waleses out of it. I don't believe they're in lock step on everything, but I think they're pretty close.

Charles was wearing friendship bracelets Charlotte gave him at Trooping, and as he was wearing them in the US it looks like he doesn't take them off. Louis sitting on his lap at the jubilee. This is a grandfather that loves and is comfortable around his GC. William knows his role. As does Charles.

IMO they may not agree on personally reconciling with Harry as a royal - but they agree on Harry with regards to the Crown and the Royals.

Of course. That's the worst part. It's now the Harry and Meghan show.

NormalAuntFanny · 20/06/2026 09:45

I do think at least one thing is clear which is 99% of the 'royal experts' know no more than the average person who has read these threads and all the so called insider people really have nothing except a brass neck and short memories.

The odd actual journo might get the odd actual whisper from some under-footman but normally those leaks themselves are partial in the old fashioned sense and often just more manifestation anyway.

And then there's the Sussex PR assault which is really clear and all bollocks.

Much as I love the awks and faux drama there seems to be very little actually happening except increasing desperation from the sussexes ahead of their nothing burger one year thing and the ANL judgment.

Do any other events have a “ one year to go” thing ? Olympics ?
