Meghan and Harry the grift that keeps on grifting. Long may they continue. Better than any soap opera on the telly.

Not only was I disgusted by Markle's disrespect towards the late The Queen, but also by her mother joining in the slagging off of the Royal Family, having been quite happy to be dressed, at their expense, in Oscar de la Renta no less for the wedding and being, again at the Royal Family's expense, a guest at the exclusive Cliveden Hotel prior to the wedding. The sheer nerve of it is quite breathtaking. 'Shilling' by the pair of them doesn't even cover it.

I reckon what she actually knows about the RF ( as opposed to H ) you could write on the back of a postage stamp

But you said it yourself, @BasiliskStare - Harry will certainly know more and I'd be amazed if she hasn't pumped him for the lot while using the empathetic, doe-eyed wife schtick

I have a different opinion based on glaring "misrememberings" in Spare.

For example, H claimed he was informed of the Queen Mother's passing at school in the UK by himself, when he was actually informed on an overseas ski holiday with his father and brother...and the world has the media photo op that the then Prince Charles did with his two sons upon arrival to the ski resort as well as the photos of the somber trio returning early together from the holiday.

IMHO, H appears to be a very self-centered person, and I doubt he would have cared to learn anything about anybody else's life, even before you take into account the number drugs have done on his memories.

On the other hand, I firmly believe, H&M are quite capable of making things up and presenting them as their truth. See the "I was at school in the UK when I received a phone call all by my lonesome to hear that my great-grandmother had passed on". Cue tears and poor sad H with his awful unfeeling family!

To be fair to her, after what that monstrous man did to her during their short marriage, I don’t blame her for using the title as a way of sticking two fingers up to the bastard.

What on earth did he do?

They are so very well suited to be fair. The poor kids

What on earth did he do?

She alleges are that he beat her up so badly she needed hospitalisation and plastic surgery. I don't know if you are aware that she was (wrongly) brought up as a boy due to a genital anomaly that was corrected in her teens. He allegedly blackmailed her wealthy family over this in order to extract money from them. Marrying rich women for their money to prop up their crumbling pile seems to be a habit that runs in the Campbell family, if you you are aware of the story of his father, Ian Campbell's marriage to heiress, Margaret Sweeny.

I remember seeing a video of that and actually the Queen indicated to her to go ahead first.

She only told meghan to go first after she had already pushed ahead of her and was about to do it again. At the same engagement she also walked ahead of the queen to greet people and ignored the aides telling her not to.

Yes, exactly.

Also, they don't appear to have many aspirations for the kids. Meg wants Lily to join her in her "business " and H wants Archie to lead Ingriftus🙄 Education isn't high on the agenda

It wasn’t high on their agenda for themselves either to be fair. Harry is pretty ignorant and so is she. Neither have any cultural interests or seem to read . Harry doesn’t even know much about his own family and their role and function.

I respect her architectural refurbishment and restoration of Castle Goring. I remain unconvinced as to Surro-Gate however.

But that’s a whole other thread …

Puzzledandpissedoff · 15/06/2026 21:49

Indeed, Fenella
I'm no defender of the RF as a whole, but I dislike ugly behaviour even more and there was simply no need for this

Then again I've always believed that Meghan deliberately courted criticism, the agenda being to claim "all these racists are being nasty to me, so I had no choice but to leave", and luckily for her she found someone stupid enough to fall for it

That’s another of those contradictions.

I had never encountered racism before I came to the UK.
The first time I encountered racism was in the US in a car with my mom driving when I was just a kid.

😮 at the breakfast. Why is there a dried up half an orange on the tray? Why is neither the coffee nor the lemon herbal tea on there, and instead there's just cold juice? Why does both the toast and the croissant look burned? How can rich people with armies of staff do this so badly?

It looks like a toy, plastic croissant

In other words, when I, Meghan, plaster my kids all
over social media to sell my tat, it’s not my fault, it’s the fault of the tech companies for letting me do it and letting other people see it. I am always the victim.

What’s particularly revealing is , she was playing to a US market and it didn’t land favourably there either!

Looks like a stock image used for a 3 star BnB in Lincolnshire

It’s the same image used previously ( I think for Mother’s Day!)

Lunde · 16/06/2026 00:29

Why is Meghan recycling the poo-emoji-esque burned croissant 💩, tough, dried out satsuma and liquid "jam" with flowers?

Is this what she serves to Harry or is the burned croissant for her own father.

It's also not something she created for Fathers' Day as she used the same photo for "teachers" back on June 3rd (I don't know what teachers have done to deserve this slop either).

Yes, the racism claims are very contradictory. She needs to get that straight.

Yes, but they're special. The rules and guidelines are for us common folk.

MyAutumnCrow · 16/06/2026 06:13

‘Prince Harry’ is trending on X and it’s the stans going nuts over Harry’s being seated in Row 8 at the Nicks game. It is now stan lore that Row 8 and his seat were in the very very special VIP zone, much specialer than the boring old celebrity front row seats where nobodies like Timothée Chalamet were seated.

(Apparently something Rob Shuter said on a podcast has upset them.)

And there’s an AI version of the Spike Lee handshake circulating where there is much friendly interaction and no weird tummy touchy-feelies from Prince Handsy, so I reckon that the ridicule from that’s stinging a bit too?

MyAutumnCrow · 16/06/2026 06:15

Tbh I find the stans difficult to understand and their points hard to follow.

Tbh I find the stans difficult to understand and their points hard to follow.

I think some people got invested in them, wrongly thinking that they were challenging the RF and the institution, and believing the tales of racism and torment. There was also a claim from their one time spokesman, Omid Scobie, that they weren't going to give their children titles (hollow laugh).
However, it's become clear that H&M are ultra royal, loving the privilege and the wealth without any boring duties. The children are Prince and Princess, they're touted and monetised. H&M live a life of unearned privilege. Imagine that you backed them? I genuinely feel sorry for people who were mislead.
